22oz bottle sealed with orange wax poured into a snifter. Bottling date of 3/29/18 printed on the label.
Bourbon and vanilla notes on the nose and palate. Big warming finish that lingers for quite a while from the high ABV. Definitely a sipper. Tasty!

Appearance- The beer was a dense black color with mocha colored bubbles.
Smell - There is a ton of vanilla in the nose, it was like getting doused in vanilla air freshener.
Taste - There was a lot of vanilla in this stout. The heat made me think the beer was aged in Vanilla Absolut barrels. Dark chocolate and raisins come through in the back with a warm after.
Mouthfeel- The vanilla gives a smooth impression, but this is thick.
Overall- Aside from being a little hot, vanilla runs wild in this one. Well done.

Pours a deep dark black with a thin layer of light brown foam.
Deeply roasted malt, sweet vanilla, oak, and a nice whiff of bourbon.
Vanilla comes through quite outstandingly, with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and barrel character adding more complexity.
Full-bodied, low carbonation, sweet, but not cloying, just a touch hot, could use some time.
Overall, this is certainly a delicious sipper and very well done!
