4/18/18 date-
Pours a clean looking copper color, hint of a very thin head which disappears quickly.
Smell -orange, pineapple, cherries and maybe even a faint hint of sweet pepper.
Taste is very clean with an initial hit of sweetness, similar to say orange and honey, transitions to a sort of sweet red pepper taste, then progresses to a long lasting pleasant hop finish.
Very smooth and creamy feel, light and drinkable, especially for a DIPA. The next time someone asks me what I think a NE style IPA feels like I will suggest they try a Banaba.
This was a happy accident purchase. I came in to the local looking for a different IPA, saw someone had left a four pack of Banaba near the register, and I felt bad for the guy at the register as he was flying solo and had to restock so I thought I may as well try it. Well worth the money and thank you to the person who abandonded this gem.

Canned 8/22. Very clear, clean golden appearance with moderate foam and lacing. Slightly bitter hops on the scent with a little juiciness in there as well. Taste is the standard West Coast bitter hop. Very crisp, clean, and dry feel. Tasty.

Pours a light gold color with a momentary thin white head that quickly dissipates leaving an oily white slick of bubbles on top of the beer.
Smell has notes of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, with a touch of honey and some cracker like malt.
Taste has nice clean notes of grapefruit, pineapple, and orange. A touch of sweetness with a pleasant bitterness that builds to balance the sweetness and then lingers to the finish and beyond.
Very smooth mouthfeel almost creamy, light and drinkable, especially for a DIPA. Can definitely see the NE style mouthfeel influencing this one.
Overall this is a very well crafted well done DIPA from Hailstorm. I am quite impressed.

Hazy gold with two fingers of gold-tinted white head that leaves decent lacing.
Muted aroma of honey malts and spicy hops.
Light tasting, again with some peppery hops and mild malt sweetness. Leaves a slight pine-nut impression with a moderately bitter aftertaste.
Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Perfectly drinkable, but nothing really stands out to me in this one. Crowler canned on 4/14/17.

Pours a kind of dull and murky looking rusty gold with a bubbly finger of off-white foam.
Aroma is citrus forward with notes of orange, grapefruit, and a pineapple like tropical fruit note to add.
Citrus comes out a bit in flavor, but seems dulled and a piney/grassy bitterness seems to overpower everything.
Medium-full bodied, medium carbonation, grassy bitterness.
Overall, I was a bit let down with this as I thought this leaned way too far on the sweet-bitter spectrum even for the NW style it is lacking complexity in flavor and the bitterness takes away tremendously from the mouthfeel.

Aroma is citrus, sweet fruit and mild spices. The flavor is grapefruit, citrus, sweetish fruit, biscuit malts and a spicy hop/slight hop resin finish.
