Fermentoren, Copenhagen - Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Medium carbonation. Smell - large citrus and tropical fruits, pine needles. Taste - similar to aroma with a light bitter finish. Great easy drinking beer.

The colour is yellow (5 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger head is white and airy; it sinks quickly down to a tin lid leaving no lacing. Very much like a pilsner…

The strong smell is very hoppy with loads of bitter herbs, citric fruits (mostly grapefruit and lime), resin, citric marmalade and citric acid. Strong sweet notes of lactose and fruit jam. Hints of alcohol and gunpowder.

The taste is enormously bitter with grapefruit, lime, lemon and bitter oranges. Sweet fruity flavours with some mango, bananas and oranges; hints of lactose. Medium body. The aftertaste got growing warming clean alcohol, grapefruit and lemon juice, sour fruit candy and clean sweetness. The smooth finish is bitter with notes of fresh lemons.

The carbonation is strong, the mid-sized bubbles long-lived. The liquid is smooth and a bit thick.

After the “milkshake IPA” hype, this is an old school west coast DIPA, pale and hop-centric. Well done.

Murky yellow appearance with a small head.

Smells of lemon, grass, and some general fruit sweetness.

Sharp citric acid taste. Lemon peels, floral notes, and booze-flavors are also present. Certainly not an easily digestible beer - and not necessarily in a good way.

Pours a slightly hazed, golden color, with a one finger broad head.

Smells of candied, slightly skunky oranges all the way, supported by a hint of crisp lemon peel and toffee malts. Quite sweet on the nose, featuring a pleasant fruitiness.

Has a higher, lively carbonation, which comes with a slightly harsh peak to it after the swallow, offering up the palate to a boozy bitterness, while its body does not turn overly complex.

Tastes of flowery citrus peel, which turns dryer and earthier, the longer its hops linger on the tongue. Reveals earth coated toffee malts, which produce a prominent bitterness, somehow getting added to the fruit appearance, resulting in a juicy ripeness. Harsh as for its mouthfeel and slightly alcoholic, with a slowly evolving citrus bitterness during the finish.

Too unbalanced to convince, with an overly present malt backbone and an unpleasant finish.
