16oz can. Poured out a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange peel, pine and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Pours orange with a nearing opaque-transparency, with a little bit of the transparency lingering between visible particle suspension. Head is a finger and a half of white foam. Aroma is grapefruit - flesh, rind and all. Beyond grapefruit is lemon zest, and resiny, dank hops. Malt profile is earthy, with a light bready quality. Flavor profile is big grapefruit, lightly tart rind and all. Chalky orange and lemon zest and resiny, herbal and dank hops round out the flavor profile to form a sticky grapefruit residue. Mouth feel is lightly chalky with a little abrasiveness on the back of the palate. It has a medium thickness. Overall, big grapefruit notes, which is pleasant. Otherwise, a fair to solid DIPA (per the label).

Aroma of grapefruit rind and orange peel explode out of the glass. It's dank yet juicy as hell. Fair amount of bitterness, but never crazy unbalanced. Just incredible. Easily the best IPA one can find in Kansas right now

Come on now, guys, what gives? I am NOT a home brewer, but I know what I like & I love your brews! Fuzzy Knuckles knocked me out last fall, but AWESOMENESS is a bridge beyond...Look, I've had the good pleasure and good fortune of trying many of the legends...Pliny, Heady Topper, Dale's Deviant, Hopslam, etc...Your anniversary brew is right there with them. Absolutely delectable. And how you get that velvety mouth-feel in an 8% brew, I'll never know, and I don't really want to know--I'll leave that to the cloners. Is there some sort of unique, western-Kansas, eco-specific-botanical honey in this stuff? Unreal. Kudos and bottoms-up to your team. I can't wait for your 2nd anniversary incarnation next year, although I'm sure the secret will be out, the cult following will have reached critical mass, and the stuff will fly off the shelves even before it hits the shelves.

Poured from an unassuming can into a Teku. Lovely hop aroma mixed in with some citrus. The taste lives up to the smell and then some, this is a great DIPA. I was shocked and impressed.
