Beautiful 300ml blue bottle with a blue and silver label. It has a 11-2018 BB date stamp. Purchased and consumed in Fukuoka, Japan.

This is a Belgian White ale, I guess, with moderate strength for style. above average balance, complexity and harmony, and relatively lively carbonation. Tropical fruit notes and bready malts dominate with banana and clove most noticeable.

Purchased a bottle of this at Julio's. It is a 300mL blue bottle with a "silver" label (aka, white label with silver mountains behind white ones). Poured into my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden hue with a fizzy one finger head that quickly faded to leave a tiny halo that then quickly dissappeared.

S - Wow, this is from Japan? Really?? Like a nice hoeegaarden. Lemon, wheat, yeast, light spices.

T - Taste is more of the same. I cant believe I'm getting this from the bottle. Stuff Has great body and flavor with lemons, strong wheat (that lingers on the pallet), light mustyness, and good fruit. A wonderful balance.

M - Lighter carbonation, smooth clean body. An almost exceptional example of a witbier...and from Japan no less!

O - OVerall really enjoyed this beer. Completely shocked by how good this beer is. I'd buy it again, even though it is a bit pricey. Super well balanced, plus, how cool is a blue bottle!?

So close, yet so far!! This is probably one of the best or at least better wits I've come across that could rival Hoegaarden, but it looks awful! A murky drain water kind of honey, with no life to it. The head is respectable but the body looks quite dull and uninviting. Such a shame coz this smells and tastes just like a wit should. Posibly a touch thin on the finish but otherwise I'd be happy to drink this anytime.

Tipped a tulip to this delight. Poured murky, dark orange...bright white head with champagne style carbonation. Hazy body kicked up cloves and white flowers with a signature wit yeast tying in the aroma. Ale is delicate but not soft. A refreshing spritzer, popping delicate floral scents. Reminiscent of a pilsner at moments, then falling back into the classic wheat profile. Very well balanced and elegant. A sultry session.

Single, 10.1 fl oz (?) bottle purchased from Buy Rite on Oak Tree in South Plainfield...
Didn't know what to expect from this beer, with an all-blue bottle and front logo sticker...
Pours a cloudy, hazy, murky, straw-colored hue with a decent-sized foamy head that quickly receded and left behind a fair amount of lacing...
Super-sweet, powerful aroma replete with wheat, fresh citrus, and ripe fruits...
In terms of taste, this is the Japanese Hoegaarden... Flavor strongly complemented the aroma, bursting with ripe fruit, including green apples, pears, nectarines, and sugared candies...
Creamy mouthfeel along with an excellent level of drinkablity...
Good stuff...
Highly recommended if you can get your hands on it and are a fan of Witbiers....

This beer looks pretty nice: very fine bubbles form a pleasing head on a beautiful hazy white-golden color body. Smell's good too: citrus, wheat and yeast, with strong notes of freshness. Also the typical hefe weizen banana aroma. Very sweet.

The taste is nicely wheaty, sweet, with lemon and orange flavors. A dry iodated banana note appears a bit later. I like how this beer combines features of both hefe weizen and witbiers. Very interesting. The mouthfeel lived up to my expectations: very round and creamy, thicker and more complex than many other witbiers. Maybe just a bit too sweet for a perfect drinkability.

I love the non-smooth cans these Ginga Kogen beers come in.

Color's a real real pale yellow, almost...white?!?! Cloudy, resembling the color of green tea really. Some occasional thick lacing up in the glass. The smell is remarkable, rich and deep, recalling cantaloupe.

The taste has something that makes me think of yellow pez, a wonderful trait. There's also a little Yubari melon going on in there. Pretty sweet, tropical Belgian winter taste. The taste is mild and continues through to the end, which comes a little too quickly. The mouthfeel's pretty nice, real mild bubbles.

I prefer the Weizen to this White.

Ingredients: German barley, Czech Saaz hops, Spring water.

Beautifyl white head, opaque light gold color, beautiful lace. Light honey and apple aroma. Micro-carbonation, lightly sharp and quickly fading taste. Light body. Best light beer I remember having off-hand.
