The colour is gold; the liquid is clear. The three finger head is off-white and compact, and it sinks slowly leaving lots of thick lacing on the glass.
The smell is quite sweet with hints of honey and caramel. Anonymous citric peels and floral notes. Hints of paint and plastic.
The taste is balanced, like an English pale ale with some modern hops. Some grapefruit and lime juice. Oranges and caramel sweetness. Medium body. The aftertaste got surprisingly strong hot alcohol flavours, some paper/pulp and a touch of matured cheese. The finish is bitter with some pulp.
The carbonation is medium strong; the many small fresh bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth.
I didn’t like the hot alcohol nor the plastic flavours (that I have observed in other beers from this brewery).
