On tap at Churchkey in D.C.

Pours a hazy orange with soft, soapy head.

Smell is juicy and tropical with notes of mango, pineapple and peaches.

Taste is also juicy and slightly boozy. Notes of peaches, mango and pineapple and some pine on the fairly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice DIPA, where only the slight booziness brings it down a hair.

Canned 7/24/18 (16 days ago)

L - 2-finger low-density head atop a near-opaque dark orange body.

S - grapefruit, herb, melon, some earthiness.

T - pungent grapefruit followed by a huge earthy push. This is a tasty “earthy”, not a dirt taste. Some herb, melon, pine, sour lemon. Moderate bitterness, no sweetness, low booziness.

F - medium-full body with below-average carb.

O - one of the best “earthy” ipas I’ve yet to try.

Look- Lighter in color, hazy. Not thick and sludgy.
Smell- Seriously dank scent
Taste- Dank and hop forward.
Feel- Medium carbonation, very light and delicate. The hop forwardness breaks down into a pleasant bitterness
Overall- Great beer!

16 oz can dated 12/14 poured into a tulip glass.
L: A finger and a half white foamy head that leaves some nice lacing. Hazy bright orange color.
S: mango, pineapple, and some pine or grass.
T: Mango, orange, grapefruit with some nice betterness on the finish.
F: Medium body and carbonation with a very smooth mouthfeel.
O: Another great DIPA from Triple Crossing. They've really nailed down the 8% beers.

Smooth, balanced. Fruitiness on palate. Easy drinking for a DIPA! 5/12/17
