Our ever rotating, ever evolving Double IPA series. Much like dreams, certain hop varieties can be fleeting and hard to fully grasp. Rather than fight that truth, we'd rather embrace our own Green Dreams which will allow us to brew beers with often rare ingredients, and new processes.

Hops: Triumph and Wakatu
Appearance: Arrives a hazy goldenstraw with a thin head; minimal lacing
Smell: Vinous Southern Hemisphere grape tones and a touch of pith
Taste: Quite austere, with the whole wine grape and pith elements dominating from start to finish; there is a touch of line that develops midway through; grassy and green
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Fun to play around with these Antipodean hops but I prefer a bit more tropical juice

Pours a hazy light orange with soapy, soft head.
Smell is crisp and citrusy with notes of melon and papaya.
Taste is juicy with some sweetness. Notes of melon, papaya, citrus and vanilla. Soft but defined bitterness, nice hop burn, and great balance. Awesome stuff.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, with good carbonation.
Overall, a great DIPA. The smell was soft, but the taste just kicked ass.

Hazy golden orange pour with two fingers o dense white head.
Smells of resinous citrus, orange, grapefruit, some pineapple as well as notes of pihe.
Taste follows to a tee.
Medium to full body with good carb level.
Overall quite enjoyable.

The beer pours a nice white and creamy head that looks good. The beer itself is a cloudy yellow orange that looks delicious.
The smell is very good. It has a good moderate dank note with a nice pine and orange note that are bitter but not overwhelmingly so.
The taste is just fantastic. It has a good orange and bitter pine note with a slight hint of grapefruit and a moderate lemon finish that works very well.
The feel has a medium body that falls on the heavier side of the spectrum with smooth feel and a dry finish.
Overall, this is a fantastic IPA worth getting and is great all around.

This review is for the Citra/Denali/El Dorado version. Consumed on tap at Brookland Pint in Washington, DC
Appearance: Very pretty haze. Hazy, not murky pale orange with some gold and yellow in the light. Good head, retention, and lacing.
Aroma: Huge fruit. Pineapple immediately jumps out of the glass. Zesty citrus behind it. Some apricot and guava as well. The quality is as good as the intensity. Nothing astringent or green.
Taste: Equally outstanding. The balance is super well done here. Enough pale malt character to support the hops, providing a slightly candied quality. Massive pineapple, tangerine, citrus zest, guava, and slight hints of pine and resin.
Feel: Creamy and lush, but with more than enough bitterness and carbonation. Hop flavors linger, but the finish never gets overly sugary. Supremely well done.
Overall: The best DIPA I've had in 2019 and likely in my top 10 ever.

Poured a cloudy, slightly yellow body with minima head and lace. Aroma is rather soapy and slightly acidic hoppiness. Smooth, tad creamy, there is an acidic sharp edge to beer along with a citric orange vibe that is well-balanced and offers a crisp finish.
