16 oz can dated 4/14/2020. 2 days old at time of review

Hops: Citra

My favorite hop, one of my favorite IPA producers. And still exceeds my expectations. Super soft, citrus fruits exploding in the glass. Just a simple, beautiful beer to cry into.

Crowler, day of canning:
Pours a cloudy yellow, pale and faded as the cloud influences the color. Head is white and large-bubbles foamy. Initial lacing is decent.

I have to assume Citra hops given the name and the nose doesn't change my mind - a near rotting orange rind with some guava and a little grapefruit white flesh.

Taste is more firmly in the grapefruit side, white flesh juice as well as the white rind. Not as smooth as expected for a cloudy IPA, but I actually like the light and slightly bubbly feel. This might be a little straightforward, and could use a little more bitterness (a slightly wooden bitterness is slow to build) to fall towards straight IPA, a little more juiciness to go towards NE. This is sitting mostly like a decent APA.

Poured from a 16 oz Crowler into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a hazy medium orange with a fluffy white head.
S - You can smell the citrus as soon as you open the can.
T - The taste matches the smell, tons of orange and pineapple with a slight bitterness.
F - Medium body and lightly carbonated.
O - Fantastc citrusy IPA.

This was a nice offering but not as good as some of their others. Body really wasnt their for me. Great dry hop citra flavor, nice hazy beer, not overly sweet. BUt in the end just a touch to thin for the NEIPA style

From a growler, pours a bright, glowing orange. Very hazy, with 2 fingers of white foam. Smell is bursting with citrus—fresh oranges, lemon and orange sherbet—along with notes of tropical fruit and pine. Taste follows. Feel slightly thin. Overall, outstanding NEIPA.

Can stamped 08/30/18

Cloudy pale orange hue with a short, sticky head. Pleasant, colorful fruity hop aromas: pineapple juice, peach rings, and orange creamsicle. Soft fruity hop flavors as well...OJ, nectarines, and a variety of creamy tropical notes. Medium-light, somewhat fluffy, a little bitterness hanging on at the end. Very nice.

Poured fresh from a crowler.

Nice hazy, orange-colored look with foamy white head that dissipated very quickly.
Very pleasing, strong smell of orange, citrus, guava, maybe mango.
Again, orange, citrus, mango. Ends with a spicy orange zest.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel. Low-medium carbonation.
This grew on me the more I drank, and as it warmed up some, the flavors really started to come through. The sort of bitter, orange zest with the carbonation on the end makes this really refreshing and balances out the sweetness of the sweeter orange flavor.

Had a pour from a crowler today and it looked great with the classic NE style cloudy gold color with a nice head and decent lacing, followed by that dank orange juice/grapefruit juice citrus nose that smelled tart and zesty. Flavor was pungent with a lot of citrus hops, especially grapefruit, lemon, tangerine and general citrus fruit flavors, but the bitterness was a tad bit to sharp for me. It was a good beer, but needs some adjustments to make it more drinkable.
