Favorite spring and summertime beer. Refreshing, gently tart, but almost semi sweet. Would pair well with Mexican food.

I received a can from @roguer in the NBS BIF #13. Canned on 3/1/2021. Poured into a Pilsner glass. It pours a pale, golden-straw color with a large, foamy, bright white cap and thick, soapy lacing. The first smell I notice is fresh cucumber - very salad-like. There is lime in the background along with wheat cracker and floral herbal aromas. I think the smell is unique and quite pleasant. The cucumber is front and center in the taste but blends really well with the lime and salt. It's not overly sour - more tart. The taste is very clean and refreshing. Its mouth feel is lite and crisp with a pleasant level of carbonation and you barely notice the 4.5% ABV. Overall, while I rarely drink Goses, I like Tritonia a lot. It happens that I really like both cucumber and lime and Creature Comforts has used them to excellent effect. If CC distributed this to New Jersey, it would be part of my summer rotation.

Gose is a change for me. It's different but pleasant ly. I'm not a cucumber fan but this is better than the real McCoy. Would be a great beer to drink under the shade of a coconut tree. Enjoy

Excellent head production. Body is a very pale, almost sickly, yellow.
Strong cucumber on the nose, accented with a bit of lime; the tartness of the lime tends to overpower any effect of the souring agents. Smells light, refreshing, and very pleasant.
Delivers on the flavors promised, with a huge amount of cucumber, accented by salt. The lime doesn't stand out quite as prominently, although there is a nice light sourness.
Cucumber beers are sure to be polarizing. I'd personally prefer a little less of the flavor; while it adds a bright freshness, it's just a bit too much for me. Still, it's an incredibly refreshing and light beer.
