A finger's worth of crisp bone white froth with decent retention... Color is a slightly pale honey... Nose of grapefruit and assorted tropical fruits... Sweet citrus on the palate with a sharp bitter finish... Medium bodied and sturdy... Solid and enjoyable... Well crafted...

Fours across the board. A really good, well-balanced beer. At 8% - it's right in the sweet spot for a DIPA.

12 oz can at the Spring 2022 Suwannee Roots Revival festival.

This is a strong and aggressive DIPA. It's a bit boozy, strongly flavored, and has above average bitterness for the style. Still plenty drinkable.

Golden straw color. Nose is citrus and pine. Moderate carbonation. Taste is lighter than you'd expect with a good balance of citrus and a hint of pine.

I just like… and then I… and there’s is… I kind of don’t want to define this one. It’s just there. Like Raul. Like you. Like the girl that spurned you in the 12th grade… But here I am. Enjoying it. Breathing this life in. Breathing.

Appearance: Pours a relatively clear goldenstraw with a frothy two-finger head; excellent retention and lacing action

Smell: Dank and piney, with some grassy and citrus elements

Taste: Cracker malt flavors emerge first, laying down a sweet backbone against which the grassy, piney hops emerge; a hint of grapefruit pith adds to the hop element; the finish is crisp and bitter

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A well-balanced DIPA that brings just a little sweetness and plenty of bitterness; a nice break from the tropical IPAs so omnipresent these days

Had my first one last night at a restaurant in Cartersville, GA. and it was fantastic. I normally drink Tropicalia but tried this Double IPA. I don't usually like the high ABV beers but this was world class.

Appearance: Clear, gold. White frothy head with good retention. Fast rising bubbles.

Aroma: Hoppy - layered hop notes of tropical & citrus fruit, herbal, pine, floral and a touch of funk. Alcohol not detectable.

Flavor & aftertaste: malt sweetness is low. Moderate bitterness. Alcohol not detectable.

Mouth-feel: Light to medium body. Drying. Crisp short finish.

Overall: This is a world class DIPA for simple reasons, it has layered aromas for interest and it's drinkable. Too many breweries overshoot the bitterness and funk plus don't hide the alcohol well in their DIPA. CCB hit all the marks well with this. Everything is dialed up a notch, but not too much. Very nice looking, with a clear golden color and frothy head that sticks around. Layers of hop aroma; you'll note something a little different every time you drink it. Has a light mouth-feel without seeming thin. Bitterness is present but clean and short. Finish is short and dry with bitterness to fades quickly. With DIPA, I usually enjoy the first one, but they don't leave me wanting second often. This is one of the few that does.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing. Body is lemon yellow, a touch hazy, and filled with tons of sediment out of solution.

Intensely bright and herbal nose, along with touches of citrus, pine, and stone fruit. Mild to moderate dankness.

A touch sweeter on the palate, if not by much, along with a nice crackery pale malt presence up front. It doesn't take long for the hops to announce their presence, with notes of lemon, grapefruit, papaya, bright kitchen herbs, resin, and moderate dankness.

Crisp and lively; really nice feel for an 8% IIPA.
