Poured from can into tulip, 1 finger cream colored head, recedes to a pool within a few minutes, good lacing. Bright golden hazy yellow in the glass. Smells of sweet malt, pineapple, citrus and some faint pine. Taste is caramel malt, pine/pineapple citrus zest, some underlying dankness, and a good semi bitter finish, somewhat spicy. Slight amount of alcohol peeking thru. Good drinking, beer. Really becoming a fan of Creature Comforts, but that is a bad thing because I am from Texas :(

Hops forward and well balanced! I bought a case at the brewery, since it was not available anywhere else that I could find. Highly recommended!!! The more I drink it, the more I enjoy it!!!
I really like this brewery! I brought back several IPAs and all were outstanding! I will go there again next time I am in the area.

Appearance - The beer poured a golden copper volor with a white head.

Smell - Notes of lemon, grass, and pineapple appeared in the nose.

Taste - The first impression included lemon, grass, and a bit of pepper toward the back. The malt backing made the beer smooth. The bitterness comes into focus in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Carbonation adds to the dry bitterness is the aftertaste.

Overall - Not over the top, but this is quite good.

Poured from a can dated 5/28 into a Spiegelau tulip. The liquid is a cloudy straw color, and the pour kicks up a modest head that fades to a film with a thick ring around the glass pretty quickly.

Whoa - super strong and interesting hop character on the aroma - I get lots of dank aromas, a hint of onion, and even a bit of mint. I don't really get much citrus, but this smells great with just the dank hops!

Flavor follows the nose - lots of dank hop flavor. A hint of orange sneaks in mid-palate, bringing a nice balance to it. Finish is moderately dry and the aftertaste is nicely onion-y.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, with a lot of carbonation.

Overall, great interpretation of an IPA - strays away from the passionfruit-heavy flavor profile that I feel like a lot of IPAs have now. Totally well-balanced and novel - great!

This beer was an in store favorite of a manager from Green’s package on Ponce in Atlanta. His exact words when he went to get the Cosmik Debris from the back, “it costs more, but ,hey it’s just money”. And “ you owe it to yourself to try this beer”. Enough said. This beer has a crisp and vibrant burst- from the first sip to the last sensation when it slips down the back of your throat. We are new to Creature Comfort, but they have something special here. We paired this beer with Heirloom BBQ brisket, roasted sweet potato, and braised zucchini, squash and tomato medley, with hot garlic bread on side. Ummm Hmmm .

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a can of this. Canned on 4/20.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice slightly hazy golden hue with a one finger white head that fades to leave very thin wisps.

S - Aromas of faint citrus, light dankness, maybe some sticky sweet tropical notes.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Light bitterness, some orange peel, decent malt backbone. Flashes of dank papaya. Finish is a little spicy as well.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, medium bodied, alcohol hidden well.

O - Overall this was a surprisingly underwhelming beer for me. Not getting any of the aggressive tropical notes that others have with the same canning date as this. Clearly an off can or something as the beer shouldn't be this mediocre.

OMG! I am not rating it as high. But it is well balanced and the taste is so outside of the normal hit to the pallet. It doesn’t hit you like a normal IPA. An experience like I haven’t experienced before. Someone please let me know if you experienced the same as I did.

Thanks to Ravenforbeer (REddit), canned 4/20/18

Pours a decent fizzy bubbly head that fades at a quicker pace, 1/2 finger, no lacing, hazy golden honey color

Nose is explosive, tons of citrus and tropical fruit, grapefruit both pink and yellow, little dank tropical, papaya, tangerine notes, and other tropical fruit I can't put my finger one

Taste brings mild sweet malt, cereal grainy malt, with toasted notes, big hops, fair bitterness, fair fruit again, generic tropical citrus, a little dank tropical notes, papaya, little tangerine citrus, mild grapefruit pith and a bit juicy, a bit spicy later, generic tropical notes, finishing with a touch of alcohol and drier, mild bitterness

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, a touch of alcohol late

Overall pretty nice DIPA, not too heavy, nice balance, good hops in general, nice malt, enjoyable.

L - Golden with clarity, 1 finger of head which dissipates

S - Juicy and wet hops.

T - Intense citrus and bitter at the same time? Very tasty!

F - Medium body and well carbonated

O - An awesome (not overly strong) DIPA (8%). So much taste and flavor. Well done!
