Clear pale gold, nearing seafoam green, with a massive, light, spaced out and bleached white foam head and a thick lace that all dies off to a tiny ring.

Smell is sweet corn, white grape, white peach, light wheat, and a little heart of romaine.

Taste is pretty classic AAL, a little sweeter and fruitier, with white grape juice, bread, corn, hint of blue raspberry, and grass. There's also a touch of a Belgian yeast like element with banana and clove.

Crisp but frothy, tingly, and soft, finishing semi-wet.

I had a can of this at the Saucehouse Barbecue in Athens. Bland, which I suppose was the intention. The lack of a defined taste is apparently there so as not to interfer with the grub. Still, it was bland.

A - Pours a very clear and bright golden yellow color with no carbonation, no head, and no lacing.

S - Tart and fruity aroma, a little yeasty, and funk.

T - Yeasty, light lemon grass, lemon peel, a little bit of spice, and ends with a mild grassy bitterness that cleans up pretty quickly on the palate.

M - Big and thick mouth feel for the style. Heavy medium body with prickly carbonation, wet finish, and crisp.

O - Not my style of beer but would be very refreshing on a hot day standing over a grill!

Poured from 12 oz can into Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass. No freshness date.

A: Very clear very pale yellow with short-lived 1/2-finger fizzy head with a few spots of lacing.

S: Minty and lemony with a highly mineral, earthy aroma. Smells like Willamette hopping.

T: Confirms suspicion of Willamette hopping - very earthy and herbal (think sage) with a lemon pepper note and minerally finish, I think yeast derived.

M: Crisp and light bodied with medium-high carbonation.

O: Not my cup of tea as not a big fan of herbal earthy hopping. I made a blonde ale with Willamette one time and gave away most of it - this beer reminds me of that homebrew.

pours a clear golden straw with a big head that poofs. nose; slightly putrid pilsner malt, grain, gum, & grass/hay. taste; follows the nose into totally uninteresting territory - pilsner malt, muted grassy hops, white toast, & hay. medium carbonation & mouthfeel. a passable session beer for somebody looking to pound belgian blonde ales, but a nosedive from their other offerings.

Rare boring miss from an otherwise fine brewery. I know what the stated intention was but I can't see this beer not get lost when paired with most foods.

Look is light yellow color. Smell is big Belgian yeast. Flavor follows the Belgian yeast. Big banana flavor. When I tasted it, I automatically assumed it was a Hefeweizen, but its classified as a blonde. Good beer.

L - Straw, light yellow. 1 finger of head, and some lacing left on the brew and glass

S - Pilsner malts, earthy, light citrus notes

T - Light belgian yeast notes, slightly spicy, almost like a session Saison. Very well balanced and easy to drink

F - well carbonated, crisp

O - A very tasty, session like blond ale with saison and belgian yeast notes. Great for a summer afternoon

12oz can from Hop City (Atlanta, GA). 2.99. Canned 10/17/16. Served in a Creature Comforts nonic pint glass.

Pours a clear light golden hue with a half finger of white head. Decent retention and fair lacing.

The aroma is grassy and slightly herbal with notes of pilsner malt and some faint semi-fruity yeast. Unassuming but not really enticing.

Tasting notes include grassy, earthy English-type hops, cereal and a slight dry Belgian yeast character. Flavors are considerably more subtle than I prefer.

Light body with peppy carbonation. Dry aftertaste with some grass, cereal and mild yeast character.

Creature Comforts managed to get a good deal of flavor in here for the low abz but ultimately Epicurious is just not something that excites me. It's unassuming enough that I guess you could pair it with pretty much anything but I personally would be fine drinking water instead.

to me this is as much a table belgian or saison as it is a blonde, with an appreciable yeast character to it, far more complexity in this light and crushable beer than we normally consider when we think of the classic american blonde ale. great beer, the kind of ale i like to brew at home, an all day type, full of flavor from all three areas, and just really balanced and bright. golden in color, sunny, just the littlest bit of haze to it, and a tall and lasting white head in my globe. some grassy noble type hops to it, a touch of dry citrus, and some beautiful fresh pale barley and pils malt, cerealy and delicate. the yeast is sort of farmhousy, clean and slightly fruity without any must or funk to it, and no wild aspects at all, but rather complex nevertheless, and does a great job fermenting it out to dry. subtle white grape and lemon here, just enough bitterness in the dry finish from the hops, elevated carbonation, and overall just a beautiful easy drinker thats flavorful enough for the discerning beer geek. loved all ive had from these guys!
