The body of the beer looked amber in color and poured very hazy. The head was a little thicker than one finger and the retention time above average. The aroma was juicy, with peach and mango playing a prominent role. The taste was quite citric, as the dominant flavors were those of grapefruit and tangerine. The carbonation seemed to play an unexpectedly large role in the mouthfeel. The aftertaste was very tangy. This was a good beer, but I feel a little let down considering the pedigree.

Gifted from @brewsoverhoes. Hazy yellow/orange, slight creamy lacing. Smell is citrusy-orange/lemon, pineapple, slightly dank, some pine. Taste is citrusy-orange and pineapple are the most prevalent, slight lemon notes, a little piney and bready. Easy sipper, slightly dry, medium body, definite alcohol presence. Pretty good, maybe better than rated.

Clean, soft, gentle- with a fresh grassiness and clean grain finish. Lightly, but pleasantly hopped. The overall impression is something smooth, clean, and fresh, and oh so quaffable. Very nice.

A: Pours up a hazy gold with a pillowy, three-finger head.
S: Incrediby sweet notes of Mango, Peach, Pineapple, and the slightly milky note that comes from beers like this.
T: Surprisingly malty up front, a bit like a biscuit, with a definite sweetness that lingers in the mouth. A minimal touch of bitterness is here as well. The fruit is somewhat understated in contrast to the nose, but is there nevertheless, touches of pine, mango, and peach are present here, with just a hint of citrus, but nothing is super distinct.
M: Full bodied, and a bit sticky, but decently well carbonated.
O: A solid new england ipa, it is what it ought to be.

Poured into a wine glass. A very hazy but not turbid bright golden-amber color. A fairly large white head formed and the foam staying power was impressive. Great aroma right out of the can during the pour, with fresh pine needles, oranges, and tropical mango. The fruit was more up front on the palate, but balanced by the pine and resiny notes in the mid-palate. A significant but "soft" bitterness with citrus pith was there on the finish. Mouthfeel was fairly soft and the body was medium as expected. Clean and fairly dry on the finish. An outstanding collab from two exceptional breweries.

16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 4.49. Canned 3/4/19. Served in a Creature Comforts long stemmed snifter. Enjoyed 3/22/19.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a dense cap of white foam. Retention aplenty, from its large central island to broad crown and wide curtains of lace.

Smells citrusy with a little pine, some floral character and bread.

Oranges lead in the flavor, quickly joined by lemon, pine, green leaves and a bit of toast.

Medium light bodied with ample carbonation. There is an almost lemongrass note to the lingering, mildly bitter aftertaste.

Cool to see Creature Comforts teaming up with Russian River for this year’s release of Get Comfortable. This batch seems to lean more northeastern style than I recall from prior iterations. It’s a good IPA and certainly worth a try.

I had stumbled across this year's edition and was pleased. It's a hazy and pleasant beer with a great flavor and aroma. It's too good to ignore and satisfies.
