Picked up a couple of singles in early February from Total Wine for $1.99 each. Enjoy by 4-20-14.

Beer poured an amber-orange with not much of a head but the clarity is spot on.

Not catching a whole lot of hop power as this is mostly biscuity with some citrus.

In the world of IPA's which most are west coast hop monsters this one is balanced, as far as an IPA can be. Caramel and biscuity malts are prevelant at the start. Citrus, pine, and a hint of mango meld nicely with the malt base. Pine tar lingers on the palate just to let you know this is an IPA.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, nicely carbonated for a refreshing presentation.

Overall a solid beer that i will enjoy again at some point in the future.

Pours a golden orange with very little head and moderate lacing.

Smells like hops, but a fairly mild scent.

Tastes like piney hops and some grapefruit, and is balanced out nicely with toasted and grainy malts, although the bold hops clearly dominate in flavor. It's not an overly powerful IPA, and goes down very smooth.

A very solid IPA overall. One of my favorite summertime IPAs because it goes down so smoothly, but still perfectly acceptable in the winter as well.

Light brown hued with a quarter inch head of beige foam with vibrant carbonation bubbles. Brussels lacing. Aroma of pine like hops is prevalent. The pine like hop bite is very strong on the front of the palate. The backbone is of light malt and then I get a rush of pine like hops on the fade. The mouth is fairly dry and refreshing.
