Bought a single bottle as a part of a "make your own 6-pack". Honestly its a lot different than I was expecting. Big, bold flavor with very little bitterness, pretty spicy, but not as hoppy as I was hoping for,
The 6.7% ABV is hidden well, but it just tasted to me like a "dark" beer, not so much your standard IPA.

Overall not bad, but not something I would rush out to buy again, especially not if I was in the mood for an IPA. Definitely wouldn't mind paying $3.50 for a pint though at a bar.

355ml bottle.Pint glass. Enjoyed on junĀ“11.Orangish brass color. Foggy. Yellowish white copious foam.Good retention & sumptuous lacing rings. Malts & acid hops salute in nose, bready notes too.Esters explote in mouth but yield to the warming alcohol quickly masked by hops with an extra dry but oily bitterness.Incredible creamy & buttery mouthfeel.Good drinkability. Refreshing beer. A big one!

A: Pours dark amber, moderate off-white foam that lingers and sticks to glass for awhile
S: Very potent smell, funky, kind of earthy
T: Bitter hops right off the bat with a nice malty background, very balanced and flavorful
M: Somewhat heavy, very sticky, resiny
O: Straight up awesome IPA, very tasty, drinkable, definitely a top option that should be considered when available

Aroma--earthy aroma, almost a moxie to it but not revolting. Appearance---pale, golden clear river of loveliness Taste---harden-up, turn your head and swallow. heavy bitterness. Palate---medium body, thick texture, fizzy with a somewhat bitter start and finish though i want more... Overall...i have taste tested worse...i have tested better...middle of the road and a good standby

Pours dark amber with a fading white head.
Nose shows toasted malt, nutty malt, caramel and resinous hops. Not as hoppy as I expected.
Similar flavours. Perhaps the hops have faded. Too much malt and not enough hops.
Could use a bit more carbonation.
