A: Pours a hazy, clouded orange/light-brown color that produces a fizzly looking two finger head. From the pour, you can tell that this will be pretty well carbonated, which is usually a bad thing for me, but I still have faith.
S: The nose starts off with a blast of BUBBLEGUM! Really strong notes of bubblegum, followed by some wintergreen, clove (not too much), and loads of spices. A little cardamom too to give it a little cola flavor. Ripe banana is also notable.
T: Very similar to the nose except a little more intense. Bubblegum and wintergreen dominate the palate, followed by a good dose of cloves and other spices. The yeast character is well pronounced and very Belgian. The alcohol is amazingly hidden. Reminds me a lot of Weyerbacher's quad...
As the beer warms, the fruit character comes out more as well as the warmth of the alcohol. The fruits I found were cherries, raisins, and a fig-like flavor.
MF/D: Very well carbonated, medium in body, with a spicy/ clovey/ bubblegummy finish.
Overall, very delicious. Easy to drink despite the ABV.

Dark brown in color and murky in complexion. There's a fingernail of brown around three quarters of the rim and covering a third of the top. The aroma is of dark, syrupy sweet wheat and faint bubblegum and banana. I'm tasting dark wheat and a bit of sweet, overripe banana. The mouth is lightly sticky and chewy sweet.

Pretty good weizen bock, medium amber with thin head. Heavy malt masks the wheat backbone of this. Lacks the head of a real German weizen, but mouthfeel and overall body are pretty good. Medium weight winter warmer.

A fishy smell before it hits the mouth. Decent. Bitter but not hoppy. Caramel and syrup. Quite zingy. Fruity aftertaste. It's an American bigger, bolder take on the style. Has a lovely chilli chocolate quality, weirdly. Decent.
