Aged this one for 3 years. Develops surprisingly well. Almost takes on wild characteristics, but didn't become sour or funky. Dried and thinned out, coriander shines thru.

12 oz. bottle poured into a willibecher.

A- Pale straw color, and hazy. Doesn't have that classic "white" color. White head is weak but hangs around okay.

S- Coriander. Sweet tang, almost like a gose. Straw/grain malt aroma.

T- Straw, a little coriander. Slightly sweet, but fairly bland.

M- Light body. A little snappy coriander spice lingers in the finish.

O- Okay. Not the best wit I've had.

From 08/22/15 notes. 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a hazy yellow color with one finger of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. Lots of bananas, cloves, pepper, spice, wheat, bready malts, and dough. More flavor in the taste. Medium body and low carbonation, easy to drink.

Overall a nice beer, worth checking out for a BBQ.

L: Pours cloudy orange tinted straw under a thin white foam film. S: The aroma has a little bread from the malt and clove from the yeast with a touch of citrus. T: Light malt, spice, citrus and orange round out the palate. F: Light and effervescent. O: A refreshing, spicy wit.

I'll start by saying this isn't my favorite style but it came in a great 12 variety pack with prima, kolsch, and summer love. The nose is a combination of lemon and a sweet flower, maybe a gardenia off in the distance. The taste is light on the typical wheat taste but it's there and tasty. This seems to be a well-executed wit really well suited for sitting on a patio on a hot day.
