Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours clear amber orange with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating to a light film, leaving small streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smells of grassy, piney and slightly citric hops as well as some mildly toasted caramel malt and bready wheat. Taste is pretty similar to the nose. Lots of bitter hops up front with some chewy wheat and sweet caramel malt backing it all up. Crisp, bitter feel with some chewy sweetness toward the end of each sip.
Overall a decent hybrid IPA. Good amount of hops backed up by a strong core of wheat and malt. Another nice IPA out of Victory.
