Lemons!! Huge scent of lemons when I whiffed this.Taste, undertones of orange peel and floral. A light, golden session ale. Nice body for the style. Leans towards bitter, though, not overwhelmingly. A fine specimen, tasty and enjoyable.

Appearance: Light semi-cloudy golden, with a nice head of white suds. Spotty lace.
Aroma: Crisp citrus hops. Orange is most prominent with this outdated bottled (past the “best by” date by 2 whole months). Really impressive.
Taste: Crisp and orange-citrusy again, with a pleasant (if not too complex) hop character. Actually a delicious session IPA. Would love to try one fresher one day!

7/31....City Tap House in Phila, PA. Pours very light gold, almost clear. Light foam. Strong pine grassy nose. Citrus taste pops right away. Clean and light IPA. Very good.

It pours a golden yellow color, but is a bit cloudy. The head doesn’t last that long. It has an aroma of citrus, and a bit of bread. It has a citrus flavor with grass flavors. It is moderately bitter.

This is a good session IPA for a good price. A very nice beer for a summer night or a day at the beach. This beer is low in alcohol and makes for a very refreshing choice. The beer is very bitter which is to be expected of an IPA but this IPA does an especially good job by taking on a floral after taste. That's how I judge a good IPA. If it has that floral presence. It is nothing special however. For an anniversary ale you would expect that it tastes at least a little bit special. It does not. The beer taste fine and it does it's job. This was my go to session IPA for a little while.

12 oz. bottle, with enjoy by date June 06, 2015 printed on the label. Acquired a single bottle of this stuff from the local beer store, the latest session IPA creation from Victory.
Poured into a clear balloon snifter.
A - It pours a light golden lemon body, hazed with some sediment, and about one finger of frothy white head that thins to a foamy ring rather quick. Some minor scattered strands of lacing. Looks very nice for what it is.
S - The aroma is light & moderate, but pleasant. Floral, grassy, and citric with notes of juicy lemons
T - The taste is the same: crisp & clean, floral & grassy, with slight lemon citrus elements. Good balance of hops & malts. Crisp, clean, and juicy, moreso than bitter & resinous.
M - The feel is very smooth, crisp, clean, & easy-drinking. Light-bodied, with good carbonation. Still tastes very fresh, even though it is nearing it's best by date. Mildly citrusy & not overly bitter / piney / resinous.
Overall, an ideal session IPA from Victory. Definitely better than some of the other year-round 'Session' IPA's I have had from some other breweries. Would recommend this one over other beers in it's class, and it would be a likely contender for repeat drinking if they choose to rebrew this one in the future.
Victory Anniversary 19 Session IPA -----4/5.
