This is a solid sour. Not too strong on the sour but adequate for the sour fans. This would be great beer to have after mowing the lawn or on a hot summer evening. I'll be stocking the fridge with these all summer.

Pinkish orange in color with good clarity. Poured with a short, creamy, light pink foam with good retention. Medium light wheat malt aroma with faint cherry notes. No hop aromas. Medium bodied with tangy, effervescent carbonation a creamy smoothness through the middle. Wheat malt flavors up front quickly followed by medium high tart cherry with peppery notes beneath. No hop flavors or aromas. Tartness peaks through the middle and slowly fades to the end. Finished with a tart cherry flavor followed by salty dryness. Crisp and refreshing. Very drinkable. Pleasant tart cherry flavor and color.

Pours a clear blush color with a tight, white head that leaves little buts of lacing.

Smells of cherries and a bit of grain.

Tastes of the cherries layered with grain and tartness. Cherries lead off before some syrupy sweetness adds in. Grainy malt comes next. Tart notes come through with some lemon. A bit of salt before a tart finish.

Mouthfeel is medium-light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a nicely done gose. The cherry is featured but not overwhelming.

1/2/17...pours pinkish orange light white foam ring. Cherry malt nose. Fruity. Sharp tart taste, puckering. Sour cherry comes through. Long lasting, like a jolly rancher. Smooth mouthfeel, really tart.

Look: Reddish yellow. Very lively with a lot of bubbling. Little head, but long lacing around.
Smell: cherry smell, some maltiness.
Taste: Tart, full of cherry taste. There is some discernible cinnamon, and a lot of maltiness at the end that lingered around.
Feel: light body, quite refreshing. Tart and malty aftertaste blends in each other.

My first foray into gose, and it's a nice one! Will recommend it and have it again.

There's more of a cherry aroma than full-on flavor here, but it's still a tasty and interesting gose. Hits the sweet, sour, and salty attributes equally and in a restrained manner. Definitely worth one drink, might be too intense for me to want a second too soon though.

Now, I'm new to writing reviews for beers and I haven't tasted a lot, but my experience with this beer in particular was pretty amazing.

Look: A beautiful light amberish color with a decent sized white foam head that dissipates rather quickly, but seems to add to the taste and overall experience. Left a few froth lines down the glass as it was consumed.

Smell: Smells like a cider with some slight notes of fruit. Mostly light salty, but not amazing not horrible. Smell to me doesn't really matter anyways.

Taste: The beginning sip almost resembles drinking a margarita with salt, but soon after swallowing, the hints of cherry and that lemon lime beer salt I use to eat til my tongue bled when I was a kid really comes through. The salt in my opinion tastes very good in this beer and I don't think it's overdone as a few people on here have been noting.

Feel: Feels great after the first went down pretty quickly because of how smooth it is to drink. Very very VERY refreshing on a hot day, but make sure you make this beer ICE COLD.

Overall, I would buy and drink this beer again. The price point was pretty decent. I picked up a 4 pack for $10 as the liquor store near by. Time to try something else :)

Victory has a winner! A nicely flavored tart beer with enough character to blast its way into your heart!

The pink brew smells juicy fresh. The taste is tart from the beer yeasts and the lovely kirchen (cherries).

The sour finish cuts through food nicely. Recommended for a big taste.

Nice crystal clear rose color upon pour with slight pink head. Tart mildly cherry scent. Sweet and then sour that hits the tastebuds like a jolly rancher in a middle school hallway. Clean finish with just a hint of saltiness. Thin on the mouth with a nice balance in the carbonation. I liked it as an occasional refreshing summer brew.

Appearance: Pours an arresting shade of vermillion with a vaguely mauve head that leaves a nice curtain of lacing; retention is a little less than desired

Smell: Slightly toasted wheat bread, tart cherry and a hint of sea salt

Taste: Vague sense of toasted wheat bread, up front, with the tart cherry tones building; after the swallow (and particularly as it warms) the salt kicks in but the overall finish is more in the tart than salty direction

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Was a little uncertain about this bier, but the flavors were deftly handled and I really enjoyed it

I had this on draught in a bar. It poured a pretty clear, magenta color with a thin, milk-white head and minimal lacing. It has a strong aroma of sour cherry and wheat. The initial taste is sweet cherry which quickly becomes sour, along with biscuit and yeast. It is light, crisp, and refreshing with a sessionable ABV of 4.7% Overall, while I'm not a big fan of the style, this Gose was light, fruity, and refreshing. Although I cannot foresee my seeking this one out, I would drink it again on a hot summer's day.

Pours pink in color with 1/2 a finger of quickly dissipating head.

Aroma is rather bland with not much sourness on the nose. A bit of brown sugar/ a generic sweetness. Perhaps a small dose of lactic acid, but it's a reach.

Taste is alright. Some cherry is definitely noted. The feel however is watery. Plenty of salt and a generous amount of lactic-associated sourness.

Overall, this is just an okay beer. If it had a more complex body and a nit more carbonation, it would be substantially better. I paired it with spinach and ricotta stuffed shells in a rose sauce. It gets a 73.5/100.

Magenta with pinkish head
Musty, sour smell, sweet berries, cherry
Sour cherry, tannins, sweet cherry finish
Way too sour. Extremely sour for me. Lost me on the feel

I enjoyed the flavors but the sour is very intense. Much more so than others ive had in the style.

Pours a crystal clear bright cherry red with a thin layer of pink foam.

There is definitely a cherry aroma, but it's certainly not pungent. Not much else to note.

Cherry definitely comes through in flavor, both sweet and tart cherries up front, but immediately a wave of saltiness washes that right away. Definitely overpowered the salt addition in this gose.

Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, tart, salty.

Overall, they were definitely a little to generous with the salt addition. I'm not going to say this is a mess of a beer, but someone went a little too trigger happy with the salt.

Appearance - Pours bright orange-salmon in color with a pink tinged off-white head that peaks at a finger's width before receding rather quickly to a thin, broken layer of surface suds.

Smell - Hmm, almost a rhubarb pie aroma with its balance of sweetness and tartness. Cherries.

Taste - Follows the nose. The sweet/tart combination is very reminiscent of rhubarb pie upfront, then sour cherry and a bit of lemon acidity kicks into gear, along with salty character that lingers in the finish that beckons for another sip.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body in moderate, slightly bitey carbonation. Crisp, dry finish.

Overall - A thoroughly enjoyable sour gose, rivaling one I recently had in New Glory's Key Lime Gose, though I think I prefer the latter.

Had this on tap. The beer is a ruby color with a pinkish one finger creamy head. The clarity is fairly clear with an endless amount of carbonation bubbles.

A very nice sour cherry note, light toast, and yeast

A ripe sour cherry flavor, yeast, lemons, lightly toasted and yeasty.

A highly carbonated mouthfeel, with a crisp finish

I really enjoyed the cherry notes in the beer a decent offering from Victory.

Whacky pink pour that smells more like cherries than it tastes (make no mistake: there's a definite, but fleeting, sweet-cherry kick).

A no-nonsense sour that despite any hint of salt leaves no question that you're drinking a real mouth-puckerer. 4 puckers out of a possible 5.

Not fit for every occasion, but fit for any occasion where you absolutely, positively must have something really sour.

Sparkling clear pink beer with fizzy white foam. Smelled tart and like ripe cherries. Tart on the tongue, pleasant cherry flavor. Can't taste much salt. Doesn't taste like a beer at all, its like a sparkling tart cherry soda. Carbonation was high and bubbly, finishes a bit dry. Delicious.

A - Red body, clear, with visible carbonation. White head is short, but persistent. Lacing is small and cast across the glass.

S - Funky, hitting notes of plastic, with a hit of fruit.

T - Nothing of the nose except the fruit is central. Sour notes come forward in the close.

M - Brisk. Bright. Strong carbonation.

O - Yum, although not terribly traditional.

Brought back from my parents on their trip to Seattle.

Kirsch Gose pours a beautiful reddish pink blush with a tall 3 fingered bubble gum colored head. Opacity of 20%, hazy kind, with sediments floating here and there. Lace left behind. Beautiful display.

Aromas of metallic lactobaccilus, ripe berries, strawberry tops, light seltzer.

Flavor is tart, tart, tart. Cherry pits, dark cherry flesh, and metallic character throughout remaining strong as it was in the nose. The aftertaste is rather fruity with some lemon-lime soda and cherry left over.

Feel is refreshing and crisp, also quite puckering...squeezing your saliva glands of every last drop. Light and wet finish.

Overall the Kirsch Gose is not a bad beer, but not particularly great. I don't think I'd be disappointed in buying a six pack if it were around these parts, but I'm glad I only asked for one of these to bring back out of the ten I was allotted for the trip back.

Really nice well rounded gose with big bright cherry notes. Sour/pucker are big but not overwhelming. Feel is nice, light but a bit watery. Refreshing spring/summer brew I'd definitely have again.

L: Poured with a two finger white head, dissipates quickly leaving a fairly thick lacing. A beautiful reddish amber makes it appear strikingly different than most goses.

S: Not much aroma here, but I get some tart cherries and a very faint wheaty smell.

T: Tart cherries, a liitle wheat and a little salt.

F: Light bodied, light to moderate carbonation. Smooth.

O: A great summer sipper. I'll have another.

L - A slight half finger's worth of audibly fizzy bone white head with some blush undertones... Little or no retention gives way to an uneven splotchy lacing... Carbonation bubbles can be seen bursting through the surface... The color is an unique mix of vibrant amber and muted rose... A limited bit of moderate paced carbonation can be seen rising throughout...

S - The nose is quite muted... Some very light sweet maraschino cherries... Perhaps some very faint wheat undertones... Not much else...

T - The flavor profile is dialed up a bit in terms of intensity... The cherry sweet is dialed up in intensity... The wheat notes take a distant back seat... There is also a faint hint of sourness... There is a light salty presence on the finish...

F - Light bodied... Prickly carbonation... Juicy and slightly lush throughout...

O - My first gose, so I don't have much to compare too... Less tart and not as "salty" as I expected... To be honest this one is a bit to "muted" in most facets... This won't stop me from trying it's style mates, but I'm not sure this is one I would try with regularity...

Enjoyed from the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Randy!
This gose pours a beautiful ruby grapefruit color with a light pink head of foam that settles to a thin ring, subtle pool, and features light lacing. Nose of tart cherries and mineral notes. Flavors exceed the nose with tart cherries on the front and middle, salt mingles on the sides and fades to the back and finishes with tart cherries. A decent gose with a tart finish, light mouth feel, and good carbonation. While I am no fan of the style this is solid.
