A bold and bright step outside the norm, the flavors of a unique, old world German brewing process excite your senses with the sharp and sweet burst of fresh cherries. Effervescent and sublime, this session ale has an enticing cherry-fruit character. European tradition and American ingenuity come together in the truest sense as you Taste Victory in Kirsch Gose.
Pours a ruby to light red with white foam. Aroma of fresh sour cherries with flavors of tartness, intense rounded cherry character, and a refreshing salty character. Crisp carbonation and light body are both combined into a thirst quencher.

Ruby body with small tight head, streaky lacing. Aroma brings both cherries and gose sourness. Taste is more of the sweet cherries, but works well with the sour, a flavor also associated with cherries. More refreshing than a straight up hose.

A: hazy; the color of pink grapefruit; 1 finger finely pored pale pink head that receded to a wispy cap with a thick collar; nice web of lace;
S: a balance between funk, cherry, and salt;
T: mildly tart cherry from start to finish; salt comes through at the end; coriander is noticeable in the aftertaste;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: I would have liked a bit more tartness and carbonation; I was very happy that this didn't taste like cough syrup;

355 ml bottle, from Bris ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Peach to pink colour, small white head. Aroma of lactic acid and sour cherries, hints of sea water. The flavour has distinct lactic acid and sour cherries, but is not too extreme. Hints of salt and coriander seeds. Fairly refreshing.

Poured from can with best by date of Feb 9/21 into tulip pint glass. Aroma light cherry. Pink to light orange in color, 1 finger width of head. Medium mouthfeel, tart cherry taste and sea salt finish. Not overly carbonated. Excellent beer.

A couple of 12 oz. cans were just waiting to be unleashed and reviewed. They were poured individually into a clear Imperial pint glass mug. The gose is light copper in color with very little head and lacing. Light also describes the aroma, which has tart notes with a hint of berry. Kirsch Gose has a very pleasant sour cherry flavor softened by some malt. There are times a beer such as this can be very refreshing. The cherry prevents it from becoming bitter or overly sour. The low ABV helps its drinkable. If anything, it may not be tart enough. P.S. A subsequent pour into a clear pint glass left a very nice white head a significant glass lacing. The numbers on the review will reflect that.

A nice beer for the day, once again hitting nearly 75 at the end of October. Cherries are one of my favorite fruits, I'm pretty sure I'll thoroughly enjoy this
Pours a cloudy pinkish orange with 2 fingers of white head that quickly fades to a cap and leaves plenty of lacing behind
The nose is pretty straightforward here, the cherries are tart, cracker, just the right amount of coriander, sea salt, and a touch of lemon juice. The coriander often comes out too much in the style, making it a touch too spicy, but this seems balanced
As expected, this is quite balanced. Up front the cherries toe the line between sweet and tart with a light coriander spice to back it up. The swallow brings some general lemon tartness and crisp bready malt with a touch of wheat to soften things up
A nice light body combines with light prickly carbonation to create a very refreshing beer. Finishes just a touch sticky and tart
This was a pretty solid gose. Downright crushable, I look forward to keeping this around during the warmer months

"Enjoy by 8/29/16"; drank 6/1/16 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque ruby red appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.
A rough pour yielded a small white head; strong lace.
Honeyed wheat & sweet cherry notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Honeyed wheat & candle wax flavors up front; tart cherry notes on the finish.
The sweet & sour aspects clash a bit, but this was at least flavor-forward. Good.

(12 oz bottle, enjoy by 14 Jul 2018... decanted into a fat tulip)
L: crystal-clear, pinkish tawny liquid; tall crest of bubbly white foam on the pour, slowly collapsing into a bubbly collar... leaves a good bit of webby lacing
S: coriander, lemon and grapefruit zest, soft note of cherry... delicate malts, vague pine note?... cherry ginger ale overtone
T: flavorful, fruity pop up front, with a spicy tart hum remaining on the tip of the tongue, lightly saline aftertaste... cherry stone builds on the palate, coriander hangs in the back a little... moreish
F: light bodied, cut and dry, with a soft effervescence... front of the tongue gets some tiny acidic pins & needles, poking long after each sip, but fading in intensity along the way
O: not something I would normally gravitate towards, but I found a lone bottle in a fridge at the store, figured why not?... despite the beer being past it's prime, it's still damn tasty
