Notes / Commercial Description:
A bold and bright step outside the norm, the flavors of a unique, old world German brewing process excite your senses with the sharp and sweet burst of fresh cherries. Effervescent and sublime, this session ale has an enticing cherry-fruit character. European tradition and American ingenuity come together in the truest sense as you Taste Victory in Kirsch Gose.

Pours a ruby to light red with white foam. Aroma of fresh sour cherries with flavors of tartness, intense rounded cherry character, and a refreshing salty character. Crisp carbonation and light body are both combined into a thirst quencher.

Pours an effervescent chablis color with a a thumb+ of pink-ish head. Very nice lacing & head retention

S: A little tart cherry

T: Cherry, a touch of dryness, some pair, a little salt & coriander. More saltyness & cherry as this warms, Finishes salty with tart cherry, plus a hint of lime

MF: Light/medium body, fairly firm carbonation

Very drinkable, flavorful & approachable take on the style. This would be a stable in the Summer if availible

Appearance – one finger head over a clear amber body.

Aroma – Sour cherry, woody, a little hit of hard cider.

Taste – Cherry, a little cidery, crystal and pale malts, somewhat tart but not overly sour.

Mouthfeel – Puckering but good.

Overall – a nice gose, a solid example of the style.

Pale red-copper with a thin creamy film and a thicker collar.

Smell is muted of cherry and some salty cucumber.

Taste is lightly tart of red cherry with lightly salty toasted malt and hints of watermelon and cucumber, finishing dry with a light slick body and minimal soft fizz.

Bottle dated July 2017. Poured into ale glass.

L: Beer is a mostly clear light garnet. 2F+ head, good retention, leaves lots of lacing and a cap and ring.

S: Sour cherries, kirsch yeast, sea air.

T: Basically follows nose. Light wheat malt in between cherries and brine.

F: Light bodied, well-carbonated. Crisp and refreshing and only slightly tart. Good balance and construction.

Nice little Gose variation and a great summer drink.

Slightly hazy pink colored ale with a small pinkish-white head.

Smells of toasted grain and scorched sugars and most strongly of cherries. Lesser scents of berry and tartness. Faint whiff of tropical fruit, mainly passion fruit.

Starts out salty and sweet and tart. Taste of sour cherry. Little bit of a passion fruit flavor.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall a tart refreshing beer for a hot day.

A great and refreshing beer for these hot summer days. Its also a good beer to drink in between the heavy NE style IPAS.
