This refreshing session ale delivers citrus and pine notes from unique experimental hops. Two decades strong and we taste mighty fresh. Cheers to 20 years of Victory!

Pale straw yellow, crystal clear with an eggshell colored cap of soft foam that settles slowly. Inviting and bright aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor matches the nose, hint of tangerine, orange rind, pine chive notes. Subtle malt backbone of honey and biscuit, but the hops push it back down. Thin mouthfeel, a bit slick, but finishes with a carbonation tingle. Hops linger.

The 20th Anniversary Ale from Victory is decent. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave a lace. The scent was bland faint hints of hop and malt. The taste was evenly balanced and easy to drink. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Look: Thin pale yellow; Not much head;
Nose: Hops, pine, something tropical: Pineapple perhaps.
Taste: Very strong upfront herbal-medicinal quality (rosemary, thyme, etc) that overwhelms.
Some residual citrus at the close. Little to no malt or sweetness, much to my and the
beer's chagrin.
Feel: thin; watery
Overall: Meh...interesting in sort of a weird way, but not something I would ever revisit.
Could've been a freshness issue I suppose.
