Notes: Clean blonde brew, unassuming. Coffee aromatics surprises the nose. Smooth roasted flavor all derived from the addition of cold brewed coffee on a lightly bready base.Fragrant coffee aromas surface from this smooth cream ale. Cold-Brewed coffee adds rich, roasty notes to this medium-bodied and effervescent brew.

It's a medium dark gold with a small amount of creamy white head. It does hang in there and leaves small amounts of tight soapy lacing. The aroma is an interesting blend of coffee and lighter toasted grains. The taste is similar but a little more restrained than the aroma. The body is light and crisp, with a little bit of carbonation.

we are starting to see more and more of this, blonde coffee beers, but this is one of the better ones i have had lately, i think the cream ale is an excellent base to showcase the coffee. the crisp smoothness and mild grain profile lets even a little bit of coffee go a very long way, and that makes good sense. it looks just a shade darker than a normal blonde, mostly clear, with visible carbonation but not much head after the initial pour from the tap. cold brewed coffee keeps the acidity out of it, so we can really smell and taste the java. almost no bitterness here either, and if there is, there remains just enough malt sweetness for it to be beautifully balanced. the coffee is bold and fresh, awesome in both nose and taste, with a chocolaty richness and an earthy depth thats not confused with any dark grains like it might be in a stout, a really clear picture of the coffee here. there is a great crispness of feel here too, a fine dryness, and upbeat carbonation, this drinks way too easily, and is definitely my favorite from the blackboard series so far. the coffee is blended in perfect proportion, and the beer is smooth and balanced. i love seeing coffee used in styles that arent dark, and this is a brilliant example of that, they should make it a regular in their lineup...

12oz bottle into a pint glass. best by 7/13/17, so a few weeks inside the wire here.

looks very good. golden yellow body, small white head which dissipates to a ring and faint covering. good lacing.

smells like iced coffee.

unfortunately, it tastes like stale coffee. no creaminess, though i freely admit that cream ales are not my cup of tea.

medium on the mouth, coffee and faintly tingly on the finish.

overall, i've had several non-stout coffee beers recently, and most of them don't seem to do it for me. so maybe it's me.

I dig it. Sixpoint cream is a little better but they're pretty similiar. Both have the distinct green pepper taste from the coffee.

Before starting to review this beer- the question is- is this a Cream Ale?
I generally don't like the style, the color is usually light, thinner light Lager feel, and not much a taste. Adjuncts, Lager yeast?

Not sure if this is a Cream Ale.
Regardless, the beers pours a copper color with a 2F head.
The aroma isn't strong- hints of malt and coffee, but I expected more.

Good malty MF, with a medium body( not like the usual Cream Ale).
Excellent rich coffee taste, better than a lot of coffee beers. But there is something unusual
about the taste, not quite coffee, and very different. I'm not sure if I like it, but it's well done.

Overall, an excellent beer.Style-not sure. There is a slight weirdness to the taste, but otherwise it's an interesting beer.

From bottle into glass. Light lager color with a lot of carbonation, but just a small head that quickly dissipated. Not as much coffee aroma as i expected but it is there. The taste is definitely coffee but not overpowering. Finishes bitter in back of throat. Full disclosure- i like coffee and have been really into coffee porters and stouts this winter. IMO a refreshing, easy to drink beer with some interesting flavors. Nice work Victory

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass.

A: Hazy brownish Amber body with little to no head.

S: Lots of coffee with cream and sugar in it vanilla. Some light doughy breads.

T: Lots of coffee with a slight artificial sweetener taste to and some vanilla.

M: lowish carbonation medium feel a little watery.

O: A lot of coffee and sweetness but that is about it. Not a very good cream ale just trying to trade on the idea of coffee and vanilla in a beer.
