look: 4.25 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4

Pours a slightly cloudy, apricot color. Voluminous white head looks like meringue. Good retention but little lacing.
Smell is malt, banana, clove, a nice mustiness, yeast, grass, straw and pear(?). Great balance, great complexity.
Taste is less malt, oyster crackers, dirt, that same mustiness, some indeterminate spices (pepper & sage, I think), a hint of hops. Very nice indeed. Great balance.
Drying finish lead by a warming middle. Medium plus body to start ends somewhat lighter.
I bought this beer 10 months ago and was concerned it might be at the end of its best days. I don't think that was an accurate thought. Good stuff.

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Poured into a large Turbinator with a vigorous head from bomber.

A: Nice golden saison, slight haze. thin soapy disk with soapy lacing.

S: a little milk funk, some lively yeast, peppery smell. Bread, grassy, muted citrus.

T: Clove, pepper, lightly spoiled milk, barnyard hay, must/dust. Is this Bretted, seems so.

M: smooth, a little thin, nice moderate carbonation. slightly sour finish. slightly dry.

O: For a $4 bomber this is really nice saison. This is definitely one that you might try introducing to a new saison beer drinker.

look: 3 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Pours golden with a bit of haze. Big white head.

Smells citrusy. Lemon and orange up front.

Tastes- Mainly citrusy. Lemon and orange. A little but of spice but less than most saisons I have had.

Mouthfeel-Crisp and carbonated.

Overall- A very nice beer. I like a little more balance between spice and citrus in saisons whereas this beer seems pretty tilted towards the citrus but still a pretty enjoyable beer and at a great price.
