Picked up growler today since they didn't want to fill Scarlet Fire (why? No explanation given). 25 minutes after ordering, finally tracked my growler down sitting in front of some other dude down the bar. They need a new growler filling process / line.

Pours with nice 3F of soapy off white head over a very clear copper body. No carbonation flowing up. Great lacing.

Aromas are very perfumey. Lilac, herbs, citrus... Soft and aromatic.

Flavors follow suit - lots of floral going on. Rose bud, English bitter hops, herbs, and touch of tropical fruit sweetness. Good carbonation makes for a smooth mouthfeel, and highly drinkable IPA.

An English IPA with depth / balls.

Pours a hazy orange amber color with strong dense cap of off-white froth. Scent brings floral, grassy and herbal hops along with a bitter malty backbone. Taste brings a decent amount of hops in the grassy/floral/earthy/herbal range and malts in the biscuity/nutty relm. Medium bodied, nice cask pour body. Decent but unremarkable IPA.

This poured out as a lightly hazed golden color with a decent looking white head on top. The smell of the beer is hoppy, some nice resiny pine aromas with a subtle malt aroma in there also. The taste of the beer has a mixture of earthy mellow hop flavors with some additional piney ones in there as well. It's an interesting flavor profile for sure. It's like a collision of English and American IPA all in one. The mouthfeel of the beer has more carbonation than I expected from a cask/firkin. Really surprising. It's medium bodied and crisp. Overall this beer isn't too bad. It's an enjoyable IPA.
