It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste

Pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head that leaves a ring of lacing.

Smells of lemony citrus and some floral notes.

Tastes of the lemon with some grainy malts and a bit of hops. Lemon zest notes lead off before some floral hops come through. Grainy malts come next with a bit of sweetness. A touch of pepper and funk add towards the end before one last kick of citrus finishes it.

Moithfeel is medium-light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a tasty saison and gets a bit of a bonus for keeping the alcohol down.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. 6/21

Pours very pale gold, a little hazy, 1/4 inch white head. Peppery spicy belgian yeast nose. Tart, citrus taste with a peppery hop. Spicy. Buzzes in the mouth during and after. Lively saison. Snaps to a close.
