The Mazzie is a solid offering and rivals most well-know session IPAs. This beer pours yellow in color with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent is not overpowering but there is a definite presence of bitter citrus and pine. The taste is fairly evenly balanced...starts bitter then finishes sweet and comes off the pallet clean. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is quite nice.

12oz can poured into a pint glass is a hazy yellow body floating a thin, disappating white head and leaves a whispy lacing.
Citrus aroma catches my nose and I immediately know this is different. Light malt sweetness supports the aroma.
Flavor is piney hops, slight citrus, and a hint of oat nuttiness. Well balanced.
Mouthfeel is light, clean with a tinge of resin.
Overall put this in the golf bag for a fine all day drinker this spring/summer.

It's good. Nothing to outstanding but it's a solid APA. A little on the lighter side for pale ales.

Picked up by a gracious beer loving friend recently. There's no date stamped on the can, pouring this in my 13oz. snifter for a taste drive.

Look- Pours a sparkling gold leaving a thin finger of white foam that quickly settles to a thin ring.

Smell- Mild passionfruit, mango, some butyl and grain.

Taste- Passionfruit, mango, and a little grapefruit. There are some floral notes and malt in the finish.

Feel- Resiny, semi bitter and dry.

Overall- Big and pretty bold hop flavor for a 5.4% abv. pale ale. A nice 'session' ale for those seeking their hop fix without the bigger alcohol bite. It may not be Zombie Dust, but it is another solid beer from Pollyanna.

12 fl oz. can, no canned on date present. My first beer from Pollyanna Brewing Company, acquired a single can of this stuff as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's.

Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

A - Pours a crisp, bright, hazed golden orange body. Appears adequately carbonated, with two big thick frothy fingers of soapy white head. Leaves some thin wispy bubbly lacing behind. Looks good for the style.

S - Aromas of fresh, fruity, floral hops, paired with a lovely honeyed malt backbone. Very fresh, piney, sappy, earthy, & herbal. Smells delicious.

T - Taste follows the nose: fresh fruity / floral hops and a lots of good balancing bready caramel malts. Notes of stone fruits, earth, & pine. Very delicious stuff.

M - Extremely smooth, crisp, & clean. Creamy & easy-drinking. Mildly bitter / resinous / pine on the finish. Extremely crisp and sessionable stuff.

Overall, a delicious first beer to me from Pollyanna Brewing. An excellent take on the style, especially good when caught fresh. Would love to have more of this.
