In what is really is a craft beer wasteland, IMO the second best option in Myrtle Beach behind The Claw House. Dive bar atmosphere, friendly but sometimes overwhelmed staff. Decent tap list, 30 beers on tap and about 50 in cans and bottles. Shared some apps and BBQ, the food was good to very good.

Visited July 2018 with wife, mother-in-law and kids (16 & 14). It's a dive style place with a bar and some tables with comfy chairs. Beer was fresh and served in shaker pints. Selection was very good, 20 something drafts and a big bottle list. We got in right at 4pm when they opened and one girl was running the whole floor. She was super busy but did a good job. I had a BBQ sandwich, which was good. My wife and daughter had hamburgers and son had chicken fingers ( all of which were reportedly good, especially for less than $10/plate). From the location, I would imagine it could get pretty crazy late, but it was fine for a family early in the evening. Probably the best craft option in Myrtle Beach, but the competition is not strong.

Cool college vibe to this little joint. An old house converted to a bar. You enter to a living room, with couches and a fireplace, and the bar is just beyond it. The selection was a lot better than expected, however the beers I had were a bit off, like maybe their lines weren't clean. I had pork belly tacos that were pretty good. My girl had the burger, which was only so-so. The service was damn good, and they were packed. One of the neater beer bars in the area.

Nice small bar with a low key vibe too it. Nice tap list one of the better in Myrtle Beach. Service was excellent, bartenders were ready to ask what you like and serve it up if they could. They served good as well but I didn't eat.

This is my first review on BA, but I really enjoyed this place and wanted to give it a shout out!

My family and I went here for dinner during our Myrtle Beach vacation (after reading here that it was one of the few worthwhile beer destinations in the area). We didn't know what to expect, but ended up really enjoying our experience.

It's truly a comfy little place set in what is the lower floor of a house it would seem. It wasn't too busy, and a very friendly, 7 month pregnant bartender took care of us nicely. She knew about all of the beers was great the entire time. But other folks who worked there, including the owner, stopped by at times to chat.

The food was simple and tasty. Nothing special, nor was it trying to be. But it wasn't expensive and we enjoyed it.

We also enjoyed our beer, of course. Keep in mind that Atlas doesn't have the largest selection you've ever seen. I think there were 24 on tap. Plenty of good bottles too. Most of my selections were beers they had that were from the North and South Carolina areas.

Also worth noting is that this really isn't an "elite" beer bar destination if you are one who travels from city to city to find such places. It is the best in Myrtle though, superior to Liberty Tap Room.

But the best way to explain Atlas is a place that I'd want to go to maybe every other week (or heck -- every week) if I actually lived in Myrtle. The crowd was made up of all different kids of people from a barely 21 couple, to some 50 somethings, to a handful of regulars at the bar.

More to my point, we also felt completely comfortable having our 9 year old son with us, always feeling like we were in a quaint little family joint, instead a "bar."

Just as we were getting ready to leave it started to rain, causing us to have to stick around for a few more beers until things cleared up. Considering is was still Happy Hour and beers were a $1 off, this wasn't too big of a problem. And my 9 year old and I had fun sticking a few bucks into the jukebox and offer an eclectic mix of Daft Punk, R.E.M., the Jam and the Beatles.

My best to the owners for plenty of success.

This place was the best thing about Myrtle Beach aside from New South Brewing Company. An incredible beer list and a really top notch vibe. Loved sitting inside and enjoyed the atmosphere outside as well. I think the food was great but honestly, I just drank beer and ate fries, so...I guess I'll have to return for a meal.

One of the best craft beer spots in Myrtle and definitely the best place for miles. Great local owners who have a passion for customer service and providing the right beers for their customers. There are always gems still around that shouldn't be (kbs bottles a month after the release). 99.999% of the bars in Myrtle would direct you to a fast food fried chicken restaurant if asked about KBS and the other 0.001 have BMC only brands with a local in two in the mix. This place is a must stop for any beer geek while in Myrtle.

Great vibe right by the beach with an excellent selection in a town well known for crap beer options.

It's situated in a house with 25 taps and an extensive bottle list. My group had a Natty Greens buckshot Amber (draft), lagunitas cappuccino stout (draft), and Green Flash Palate Wrecker. All served by a super friendly bartender.

I will be coming back here, even on this trip.

I thought this was the best craft beer place near the boardwalk. They had several styles on tap from IPA'S to stouts and including a sour. The menu was limited but that's a good thing and quality was great. My hamburger and fries were quite good. The atmosphere was friendly the staff attentive.
