Our unparalleled Belgian wheat beer is brewed with local ingredients in accordance with our long-held family principles. Limburgse Original is unfiltered for remarkably vivid flavor. A robust white beer should be cloudy. Unfiltered for an unbridled flavor and finish. No extra fuss, simply delicious with its flavorsome touches of coriander and orange.

30ml. bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a fluffy white head that lingers. Aroma of wheat and coriander. Slightly sour and spicy with coriander and light fruit to taste. Light but lively and refreshing. Rather impressed with this witbier.

Pours a hazy and very pale straw color with a short lived white head which turns to lacing. Nose and taste have hints of banana and orange along with mild spice (coriander?). This one has artificial sweetener in it...which is interesting and a little off putting coz you can taste it. Weird one!

Can, bb in 5m.
Looks like a witbier, of the light kind, foam typical. So far, so good.
Drive-by is pure orange peel... pleasant but a bit lacking in spiciness. Nose does not expand this at all.. no chamomile, little coriander.
Taste continues the orange..what is refreshing at first, gets boring. There is some requisite coriander. But instead of the raw grain silky mouthfeel from an adjunct mash and the note of raw wheat, there is too much sweetness, apparently trying to approximate the real thing. Spice is too subdued. Starts to feel like a well made version for those who look for an alternative to lemonade. Probably has commercial appeal, but not worthwhile for serious witbier afcionados.
Well done as such, even when cutting corners for this technically very hard style.

Pours a light fresh hazy body, topped by a small foamy head and certainly less flat than I had anticipated.
Aroma is full of zest, very very marmalade.
Taste is quite refreshing, more of that zesty character. Flavour wise it has a sharp pink grapefruit initial hit, with a dry and slightly bitter finish.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this, it is a better alternative to a blue moon or a hoegaarden in my opinion. I am not a fan of witte bier as a rule, but I may be persuaded to buy a few more of these for the summer.

On tap served in a Limburgse Witte glass at Color Café, Bangkok.
L:
The showcase is hazy and pale yellow color. It comes with big velvety head that long-lastingly sits at the top while just only slowly sinks into white foamy layer. The lacing left on the glass-side is plenty and refined with many patches and spots here and there.
S:
Bubblegum, banana, clove spice, citrus, zesty lemon, wheat grain, these aromas are all you could expect from good Belgian Wit.
T:
Sweetness and fruitiness all over the taste buds with a pleasant touch of banana, citrus and lemon, then bring all this sweet back to balance with a moderate tartness and spiciness. The spiciness does its job well by continuing to linger as an aftertaste.
F:
Medium body with smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation that is lively enough to refresh the feeling. Finish is very dry that makes you really crave for next sip.
O:
True to the style as it should be while not too overwhelming sweet. Worth a try if Belgian Wit is your glass.
