Poured a dark black color with a light beige head. Aroma of coffee and cinnamon, with some vanilla too. The taste had coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, and a light residual spice in the finish. Really nice mexi coffee stout, full bodied but with modest abv. Highly drinkable beer that would be great as a dessert or even with breakfast.

Canned 12/5/23
More cinnamon than coffee by a pretty wide margin which is making this kind of a chore for me. The vanilla is there at the finish, earthy and faint. A nice chocolatey stout does peak through. Similar notes in the nose but it's much more appealing there for some reason. Good enough overall, just not my cup of joe.

Can dated "best by 12/28/22" (ah, weel - close enough) into pint glass. Pours a dark mahogany with a brief off-white head. Not much lacing. Initial impression is coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate, and a touch of cinnamon. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish fades to slightly bitter coffee. Overall, pretty good for a fairly low-ABV Stout.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a thin light khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, drip coffee, cocoa and cinnamon. Flavor is dark toasted malt, drip coffee, cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon. Mild coffee bitterness in finish. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess. A pleasant coffee forward stout with classic Mexican chocolate/coffee character. I've been a fan of Mexican style chocolate for a long time, but I'm not sure I've had a Mexican coffee, but it makes sense it would be a brew with cinnamon chocolate. This stout is coffee forward with lighter chocolate notes. The body is somewhat light for an oatmeal stout, but supports the other flavors nicely. Great flavor depth for the ABV.

Had this on 2021-10-10 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 12oz canned on 2021-09-07
A - Opaque dark brown with a 1-finger tan head that drops quickly leaving little lace
S - Coffee, toast, mild vanilla and cinnamon. Pleasant but not very aromatic.
T - What was mild in the aroma is forward in the taste. Plenty of coffee, vanilla, cinnamon and a rich, bready backbone. Not too sweet. Not too dry. As Goldilocks said; "Just Right"
M - Full body and light carbonation. Smooth, creamy, substantial.
O - This is a helluva good beer. After the mild aroma, my expectations weren't high but after the first sip I knew it was a winner. Definitely work seeking out!
