A growler purchased at the brewery on 6/17/17 poured in a 12oz. tulip.

Look- Pours a cloudy yellow that resembles orange juice leaving a couple fingers of creamy white foam. It slowly recedes revealing heavy lacing.

Smell- Pineapple, orange, grapefruit and mango. A tropical fruit basket of aromas.

Taste- Pineapple/orange/grapefruit juice, mango, papaya and a hint of floral.

Feel- Thin, creamy and pillowy smooth. There is a slight acidity in the finish.

Overall- I've drank my share of the hazy NE style IPA's in the last year and this one is as good or better than many. It smells and tastes as beautiful as it looks and the soft creamy feel makes it dangerously drinkable for an 8.2% abv. beer. I was quite surprised when I saw the rating for this. I'm guessing being located closer to the heavyweights of the style isn't helping? A seriously great beer worth checking out.

The beer comes in a milky, murky looking light straw to straw color, almost like unfiltered pineapple juice in a glass.

The aroma hits of lemon sorbert, sweet peachy candy, pineapple, ripe orange, earthy green pine, a crackery malt.

The flavor offers a theme of this earthy pine throughout, covered by pineapple, zesty bitter orange, ripe yellow grapefruit, a gentle white bready sweetness, onto a medium plus bitterness and lingering aftertaste of harsh green pine that takes over the malt quality. Mouthfeel is chewy and velvety until the astringency comes at the finish, making that the only slight on the beer.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy milky orange hue with a good one finger head that fades to leave sudsy lacing.

S - Aromas of citrus peel, light fruits, faint bitterness, good malt backbone.

T -Taste is similar to the nose, very good citrus notes, nice very faint bitterness, solid malt backbone.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, maybe a bit thin.

O - Overall this was a decent dipa, nice hops, maybe a bit lackluster on the flavour.

Nice frothy foamy head fades at a med pace with nice frothy lacing, murky orange color.

Mouth is med bod little creamy, decent carb.

Growler purchased today poured into a Brew Gentlemen stem glass:

Look: Pours an awesome and very hazy light yellow to golden color. About an inch of head with plenty of lacing present and the lacing retention in this beer is fantastic.

Smell: Getting huge notes of juice right off the bat along with tons of tropical fruit notes such as grapefruit, papaya, mango, and oranges. Smells just downright dank and awesome.

Taste: Dank, juicy awesomeness! Huge notes of tropical fruits and juice! Not overly bitter in any way and goes down very easy! Just downright amazing!

Feel: Medium bodied and super smooth!

Overall: These guys are knocking it out of the park with their DIPAs. This is the third straight one where they have killed it. Can't decide if this, Albatross, or Foshomo is better. They are all just too close it is too hard to decide. Need to get my hands on Mammoth next winter when it comes out. I recommend getting down there and getting this limited seasonal brew before its too late.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clearish reddish orange with a white head. Aromas of peach, pinapple, light grapefruit, piss, light mango. Alcohol in the aroma too. More than I would have expected. Taste is medium bitterness. Pretty good stuff. Hide the alcohol a bit and its golden. Edit: had it again recently and the alcohol is much less noticeable. Loving it!

A - Pours a dark amber gold and a nice frothy white ring.

S - All tropical fruit on the nose with mango, papaya, red grapefruit.

T - Dank tropical fruit rind from start to finish - all hops and no malt. Herbally, pineapple, papaya, mango, juicy sweet red grapefruit. 8.2% on this beer and the ABV is completely hidden behind a wall of dank hoppiness.

M - Medium body, gentle carbonation, the hops turn your mouth to cotton, nice coating of tropical dankness with a lingering sweet bitter finish.

O - This beer is a total sleeper, first one from this brewery and can't wait to try more from this place! Very well done.

Look: nice hazy golden/orange hue
Smell: dank pine and mariana, some orange zest
Taste: orange, piney bitterness, dank marijuana. A touch of malt sweetness and citrus hops
Feel: this is has a wonderful mouthfeel. It's thick, almost chewy. Close to being on that highest level of dipa mouthfeels, but it's just a touch off.
Overall: great west coast style dipa. The mouthfeel is awesome. The pine bitterness is complimented nicely by orange and faint citrus.

Hazy golden almost opaque. Minimal head. Mellow yet hoppy nose. Sweet malty taste greets the pallet is then supplemented by the finishing hop bitterness. The booze is very well masked. Pale wash of a mouthfeel with some latent fizzy CO2. Well done. Love the unfiltered haze.

Orange and hazy look with a thin head , smells just slightly of hops. A very smooth drink, almost thick feeling on the palate. Tastes citrusy and only a little "hoppy." The fore taste is almost floral, a very hard beer to describe. But I highly recommend! so easy to drink and hides it's ABV well. Would definitely get again.

This is smooth. Very much in the "CPA" style of things, but not really bringing the punch that CPA did. To be honest, there isn't a lot that really screams DIPA to me about this beer. It's way easy to drink, yes, but more flavor punch would be good.

The real problem is that The Brew Gentlemen have continued to set the bar so damn high that eventually they're just not going to be able to hit a home run anymore. But, hey, a double works just fine!
