Cant 7/25/23
Pours a raw honey orange. A little bit lighter around the margins. Solid finga plus of head that never fully recedes. Pretty solid lacing. Smells like a NEIPA with at least 4 different hops. Citra, for sure. They all have citra, right? Probably azaca too. And then some combination of galaxy, mosaic, Idaho, sabro, el dorado, blah blah blah. Who fucking cares at this point? Actually, this one doesn't smell too bad. I get some strawberry, which is always welcome, if unexpected, in my nostrils. Melon. Generic citrus of indeterminate color. I also get kind of a burning, gagging sensation in my throat if I inhale it's fumes too deeply. If that don't equal dank, I don't know what does. More citrus and strawberry on the tongue, joined by peaches and a gas station vape pen. Quite sweet, but it doesn't really bother me; just kind of heightens the fruity notes. A little smoothie-esque. Probably has lactose. Drinks smooth as silk. Lighter carbonation really lets the ingredients shine. Yeah. I'm not particularly crazy about this style, but this one is a winner.

12 oz can
Pours very hazy orange golden. Fluffy off-white head is finely textured and retains indefinitely.
Aroma of fresh orange citrus and zest with some floral herbal notes and sourdough bread malts.
Flavor is sweet bready malts with fresh orange citrus and zest. Very mild zesty and earthy hops in the finish.
Medium body with tingling carbonation on the tongue.
Goes down smooth, eminently drinkable. Dare I say dangerously so. Might be my favorite NEIPA from BG so far. Absolutely no downsides and everything hits just right. This one should be in regular rotation for any haze fan who can get it.

First beer from these guys. 12 oz slim can. Nice presentation in 10 oz tulip. Unique flavor up front with some piney notes. I don't know what a blend of American hops means. Unique flavor, a nice change from NE or West Coast IPAS

poured from a 12 slimline can (“brewed with love from pittsburgh”) into a veil willi becher pint glass. pours a thick and hazy orange with almost three fingers firm white foam. citrus and stone fruit on the nose. taste follows but has some pine and dank resin on the finish. medium-full mouthfeel with an almost sticky finish. this is another (i think my second) really good beer from these guys. very unique flavor to it. can doesn’t say which hops are used; only that it’s a “blend of american hops” but something is giving it a bitter taste on the finish. kind of deceiving since it’s so hazy but also pleasantly surprised that it isn’t a straight juice bomb. can’t wait to try more from these gentlemen!

Crowler that's a week old, Aug 2020 in Kent. Pours a bit brownish, uh oh
Smells terrible, savory, very herbal like sage. Flavor isn't much better, pretty boozy, a touch thin, and a bit of fruit with some cardboard. Maybe this is a bad crowler? Really pretty bad. Why does it taste like sage?
