Made with lactose sugar and Deeper Roots Losantiville Blend coffee. Reminds of us fudge brownies, espresso shots, and walking into class with “coffee” in your mug.

Silky smooth sweet stout base that offer hints of milk chocolate, cocoa powder, and vanilla make a good platform for a surprisingly robust roasty coffee note. Good stuff.

For such a "light" beer (weighing in at just 4.2 ABV) I was super impressed by how much coffee expression they got outta this one. The coffe flavor is smooth but still rich in flavor if not bold or robust, but it works in harmony with creamy stout base which adds a delicate sweetness underneath. It doesn't have much of body, which isn't super rare for a milk stout, but I guess I am so used to coffee beers having a thicker body that it is throwing me off a bit. Still, excellent beer.

Growler filled a week ago.
Pours a large creamy mocha colored head that fades semi slowly, fair lacing, very dark basically black beer
Nose lots of lactose and milk, some mild chocolate milk, a little mocha and creamy oatmeal, like a milky oatmeal, mild coffee.
Taste brings condensed milk and coffee syrup out front, lots of lactose and almost a cooked milk burnt milk thing, with coffee but not super fresh more like coffee syrup added to the milk, a little oatmeal like note, faint cocoa and mocha, a bit of coffee grinds, and mild bitter acrid characters on the finish, a touch of roast and bitterness lingering.
Mouth is lighter a bit thinner than I expected, decent carb,
Overall not bad, but feel like it should be a lot thicker and richer than it is, maybe bringing the abv down so much it left too much malt missing and just too thin. flavor profile isn't bad, thankfully not really acrid or too roasty.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace. The aroma comes off as a mild roasted coffee beans smell with hints of sweetness. The beer taste the same as it's a medium body, smooth and lights doubt that has a noticeable coffee taste that gives off elements of sweetness and is not overly dry; clean finish.

Growler being drank out of a Brew Gentlemen pint glass:
Look: Pours a very dark brown to black with a nice khaki colored head. Lacing is present with decent retention.
Smell: Heavy coffee notes on the nose! Also some lactose sweetness and chocolate notes are present!
Taste: Heavy heavy coffee notes! which is right in my wheelhouse. They weren't joking when they said this mirrors an iced coffee. Also a bit of lactose sweetness is present and some small hints of chocolate.
Feel: Light to medium bodied and a tad on the thin side. This is my only complaint with this beer is that I wish the body was not as thin.
Overall: Very solid coffee stout from the crew at Brew Gentlemen. I would definitely revisit this beer next year if brewed again. Hopefully they maybe try a version with a tad higher ABV and heavier body as those are my only two complaints with this beer.
