16 oz can poured into pint glass no canned on date.

A: Slightly hazy body, dark gold in color not much of a head but it was pretty cold when poured.

S: Lemony, grassy, earthy, slight bready notes with a little cantaloupe.

T: Lemony, grassy, light bits of cantaloupe, has a dirty unfiltered grainy finish.

M: Fuller mouth feel especially for a session ipa.

O: Its just ok, the beer doesn't taste finished to be like it needed to settle or some kind of filtering needed to take place.

16 oz can dated 05/04/17 (3+ weeks old)

Pours a cloudy pineapple juice color with an attractive bone-white pillowed head. Love the cloudiness here - must be contributing to the oaty flavors.

The aroma is surprisingly strong with tones of grapefruit, mango and spruce tips. They are packing a huge amount of smell into this humble beer.

Taste is a bit like a thinned juice, almost entirely lacking a malt backbone. You are of course left with pine and citrus hop flavors with a lingering toasted oat flavor at the end.

Feel is thin and selzery, which I actually like for a session. Others may disagree as the "thinness" is very noticeable.

This beer reminds me a lot of a setzered version of Night Shift's Whirlpool... that is a big compliment coming from me because Whirlpool is one of my go-to beers when I just want to taste beer but not have to worry about the buzz. I have now found my runner up to that one. Try this one, just do so understanding it is watery.

Pours an effervescent gold with 3+ fingers of ivory colored head. Hazes a bit as it is poured more, nice lacing & head retention

S: Grassy, a little mango & citrus

T: Nice mango & passion fruit up front, some dryness. Grassy, passion fruit & a little bready dryness once this warm. Finishes with Passion Fruit, a little dryness, plus a touch of tangerine

MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, super balance

Super easy drinker, lovely take on the style

Look - Pours a golden color with a slight haze. A one-finger head which dissipated quickly leaving behind very little lacing.
Smell - Citrus with pine needles
Taste - Grapefruit, pineapple, orange
Feel - A tad bitter and heavy on the pallet. Bitterness sticks around for a while after drinking.
Overall - A decent offering. Nothing to write home about, but a good citrusy IPA from an oversaturated MA beer market.

From the can dated 12/29/16. Sampled Jan 16, 2017.

It pours a decent looking golden yellow under a modest white head. Good clarity.

I get a basic hop forward aroma of pine, orange and fruitiness along with a toasted bread crumb character. Pineapple or grapefruit too.

Light to medium and easy to drink body.

Same grapefruit or pineapple juiciness and then there is a toasted bread quality to it. Mild bitterness.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow. The beer has murky gold appearance with a thick head that dissipates into some nice retention and lacing on the sides. Nice fruity aromas such as citrus lemon mixed with other flavors like grapefruit, mango, and pineapple. Generally bitter taste with that lemon citrus flavor with an interesting, buttery bready aftertaste for me. The beer is decently crisp and well carbonated, helping the beer to be refreshing. Overall, this was pretty good, especially in the looks and aroma department.

Pint can poured into a tulip while watching the Bruins.

Appearance: Pours a glowing orange/yellow with a big, frothy while head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing behind.

Aroma: Very fruity and tropical. Mangoes, grapefruit, citrus. Maybe kiwi.

Taste: Follows nose. Also a slightly grapey, winey note. Tropical fruits lead the way. Tropical, effervescent.

Mouthfeel: Just a bit thin of body, but it's kind of appealing in that it aids drinkability in a hoppy beer. Light, though.

Overall: Cool stuff from this brewery, which I'd previously never heard of. Fun, light, fruity, flavorful sessiony IPA.
