Florens is a double dry hopped IPA loaded with Mosaic, Citra and Equanot hops. This very aromatic beer has a flavor dominated by pineapple, and grapefruit. A slightly sweet finish features just enough bitterness to balance.

Poured into a Nordic pint glass not sure when it was canned, definetly with in the month. Pours a orange yellow with all kinds of floaties and leaves a thin wall of lace.
Smell is apricot, mellon, mandarin, and white grapefruit.
Taste follows some bitterness throughout, apricot, mandarin, and a healthy dose of bitter grapefruit lingers after each sip.
Mouthfeel is a solid medium plus, fairly soft mouthfeel, a good amount of life, and very drinkable at its ABV.
Overall this is an excellent IPA and I would love to chug this again.

This is going to be good, you can tell from the crack!
a) Dark, hazed, laced.
s) Apricot, stonefruit, peach, mango.
t) Follows aroma with apple, melon additions, some vanilla and pine in the finale, wonderful original profile.
f) Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Finished juicy, yet peppery and drying. Wonderful see-saw.
o) One of my favorite new 6.9% IPAs that drinks much bigger, could drink this every day.

16oz can dated 2/15/23.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Peach, orange, mango in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy citrus on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Hard peaches, tangerine, and melon. Finishes fairly dry and juicy.

Florens
Austin Street Brewery IPA American
Notes:
Heavily on the classic American IPA style over a NE hazy. A balancebof grapefruit, pine tree resin and malted grains that are heavy enough to make the balance appropriate. Crisp, dry grauny feel us also very smooth. American IPA on the hazy side of life.
