Hazy golden color shines with some Amber highlights. A fat, fluffy all white foam that doesn't quit.
The nose is super intense with spicy pineapple, peaches, rose, a grainy malty effect.
The flavor has a multi faceted hop complexity that goes on and on...
A deep grainy and bitter effect first, the dry leafy hop thing is pretty huge. Hearty, whole cone hop sensation that lacks any specific tropical, or sweet citrus, surprisingly. There is a tangy and sour-ish thing that lingers, but in a bold, crazy hoppy way.
A heady, thick feel, starts out medium bodied, then becomes rather full but still fresh.
Unique, interesting and bold. Yup.

Look: Cloudy amber. Film of bright white head.
Smell: Wow. Gobs of raw honey. Pine- almost like fresh rain in a pine forest, bit of apple juice maybe.
Taste: Up front i'm getting a big raw honey and pine mixture... sticky and wet. This is different. Really tastes like this is infused with real honey.
Feel: Nice sticky lingering feel.

-Spiegelau ipa glass.
A: Beautiful deep bright peach-orange coloring has a dense and juicy nature. A one inch firm ivory white head is bready and thick in consistency leaving a glass coating calling card of multiple band condescending rings. Light carbonation factor. Really love the bright coloring here.
S: Fresh lemonade and dripping wet citrus is followed by soft prickly pine hops and a fresh flowery bitterness. Light freshly sliced grapefruit and tangerine with a mid-level strength. Wet grassiness comes on the finish.
T: Bitter raw citrus and orange peel with dried citrus fruit, grapefruit with a raw flowery and powerful bitterness. Wet herbal and wildflower back notes, with some grassiness and berry fruit and peach. High respectable bitterness and hop levels with pine-orange comes on the swallow.
M: Medium heavy body, thick and creamy consistency with a warm, flowery bite. Warm hop resins.
O: Overall hoppy and bitter, yet flavorful, well blended and easy to consume with lots of raw flowery citrus. Grapefruit, with a strong first impression that has legs throughout. Nice range of flavor and bitterness with a great drinkability.

[IMG] Poured into a Nordic style pint glass canned on 4/24/18. Poured down the middle and got a solid finger sticky white head that leaves a nice wall of lace behind as it slowly settles. 4.25
Smell is pine resin, herbal, tangerine, peppery spice, and grapefruit rind. 3.75
Taste follows but I am digging it more, nice pine and grapefruit with some spicy hops and tangerine old school IPA. 4
Mouthfeel is medium, plenty of life but a tad dry, and very drinkable at 7.0% ABV. 4
Overall a very nice IPA, 6 years ago I would have really loved it, but sadly I am caught up in the Haze Craze like many. 4

Medium/darker orange and hazy with very little head. Light melon and citrus on the nose. What I like about this beer, it’s a good take on the NE IPA that has a bit more malt to the base. After having a hop bomb IPA, this brew provided a nice addition to the palate while still retaining the fruity and slight sweetness that these beers are famous for. Thicker feel with decent prickly carbonation.
