With beer brewed by Sean Larkin and great BBQ. You simply can't go wrong here.

Located on a busy stretch of Rt 5 in Cranston, Rhode Island, Brutopia is located in a large, fairly unassuming roadside building. Inside, it sports a large, rectangular wooden bar with booth style seating around the periphery; a second rooms is available for overflow diners.
A dozen or so Brutopia house beers are on tap, which range from lager to stout and are generally quite good. There are available for consumption or as growler pours.
The vibe was low key sports bar, the service attentive, and the pub style food (BBQ a specialty) very good. My ribs serving was large enough that I was able to make a second meal out it. A nice place for easy drinking and dining.

The place was busy when I arrived. Parking lot in front was full and cars lined the street...i had to park down a hill behind the place and had to walk....so I was nervous about seating....fear no more....they place was very large inside...pleanty of seating and a mammoth bar. The quality of the beer was decent...the food was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. They had at least 10 of their own beers available and the food menu had plenty of options as well.....the pulled pork was incredible....food outshined the beer and that would be the main reason is go back.

Stopped in here on our way home from EBF. Figured it might be cool to check out some places in Rhode Island for a change. We stopped here for some food and of course some beers. The place was nice, the service was good. The selection was mediocre but I really liked the food.

Great place to watch sports , big screens in every direction. Great selection of beer choices, tried three all of which were hoppy. To my taste all were good but not outstanding.
Brutopia burger was awesome! Will definitely return!

Frequently visited to watch football on Sudnays. The house brewed beer is excellent and worth trying their whole selection. The head brewer is a head brewer or contributor at many other RI breweries and creates a quality product. The food is very good as well, but not sensational. The Hush puppies are strongly recommended. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Also heard they have a "low-key" employee/special guests area, but I have not beer there myself. Worth stopping in for a few beers if your in Cranston.

This bar is sort of out of the way for where I was staying but I wanted to try it. It looks and feels like an upscale sports bar. There are a couple of pool tables and a lot of booths. The beer selection is mostly what the brewery makes itself. I would say they had 6 regulars and maybe another 5 seasonals. The beer style of the brewery tends to be malty, but they say they are working on an IPA. As I'm not a hop head it was all just fine with me. The beers are clean and well crafted and no off flavors.
The service is good and the staff is friendly. The food is very good and reasonably priced. They have a bar-b-que theme pork, pulled pork, racks of ribs are predominate, but they do have burgers and other pub fare.

I went here on Saturday, November 23rd around 3pm. The place was not very crowded at all.
As far as the place looked, it had a fairly nice sized bar that one could sit at to eat with loads of room. They have 3 big screens at each side of the bar, so watching football is not a problem at all. The brewing side of the restaurant is open for touring and is visible from the dining area. But in general, it is a very spacious and open inside of the restaurant.
The menu is all bbq, which is awesome. My family ordered the pulled pork nachos as our appetizer per recommendation of our waitress and some fired pickles. I didn't try any pickles, but the pulled pork nachos were good. Cheese sauce was nice and spicy, and the pork had a nice layer of smoke on the edges and was seasoned well.
We did 2 beers flights just to try as much of a variety of their housemade beers as possible. My favorite was probably the Monk (Belgian style dubbel). None of the beers we unpleasant to drink or had off flavors. They represented their styles very well. I ended up going for a pint glass of the High Voltage stout, which is a blend of Revival Brewing's Imperial Stout and Trinity's White Electric Coffee Stout. That was quite amazing! I paired that up with a pulled pork sandwich. It had crunchy, but not super tangy, coleslaw on top with Carolina style bbq sauce. That was dynamite.
You can get a growler filled here. They sell their own and you are allowed to bring in your own for them to fill. It costs $3 to fill a growler, plus whatever the cost is of a growler (if that makes sense). We got a growler of the Valhalla Amber Ale that was $14. So it actually ended up costing $17 (if you find that a good deal).
All in all, I cannot complain here. They got the best bbq I've had in a very long time. Their beers are top notch. None of them were terrible. If you are in the Cranston area or just landed into the TF Green Airport in Warwick, get down to Brutopia!

Place is pretty big, late 80's and 90's music playing in the background. Brewery is in full view on the left as you walk in. Bar in front with large screen tv's around it, seats about 20. Booths to front of the bar with another room full of tables.
Lots of wait staff around, our waiter was very attentive and helpful.
They had 6 beers on the menu and 2 seasonal's on tap that were off the menu. The beers were good, fresh and easy drinking. They offer flights, glasses, pitchers and growlers.
Noticed a Ole Hickory smoker outside, they serve real smoked bbq here. The smoked food was great, they had non smoked items that we did not try.
Pricing for the beer was good, real bbq is not cheap so I gave the value a $$ but should be between a $$ or $$$.
Overall, I really liked the place. Beers are brewed for the masses, I sure some day they will have some specialty brews coming.
Updated review. Beer is still good but the food is awful, just awful.
