This one pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells pretty lemony, with wheat, citrusy funk, white wine, ginger, and herbal funk.
This is a very, very funky take on a witbier, with a crisp lemony, herbal, and citrusy funk to it, along with a touch of white wine and oak, and a nice herbal gingery spice to it. I wish they canned this, as it’s very refreshing and citrusy.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and refreshingly tart.
I bet some of the interesting barrel variants of this one are really tasty, I need to get my hands on them.

Like a very funky white wine. Not sure who on beeradvocate decided this was a witbier, but it's more of a sour wild ale. Lemon, chamomile, peppery spices, there's an almost vinegar-like pungency in the back that somehow works really well. Garlic? Apple. Mostly though, interesting yeasty notes that I'm not qualified to describe. Very pleasantly carbonated, I really loved this one.

12.7oz bottle, foil over cap. No dating information found.
A little cloudy, pale gold colored body. Brief fizzy head. No lacing.
Aroma is lemon sour, with grassy and barnyard funk. Flower and a smidgen of ginger.
Taste is sour lemon, dry leather funk, and flowers. The ginger shows up much more here than in the nose. Also oak here and in the nose. More flowers in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with some syrup. Lip smacking dry finish. Very good carbonation.
Sharp and sour wheat ale.

Seems odd to rate this as a Witbier, there are several mixed-ferm versions out there, but this feels like a wild ale in every way.
Gold with a thin cap of foam, cloudy orange with the flavorful sediment added.
Oak and citrus aromas, moderate lactic acidity. Tart lemony taste, juicy citrus, mild ginger. Chamomile is light, vaguely noticeable in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied, supple carb, finishes dry.
Overall it’s ok, non-traditional but nice enough on it’s own.

Blend 6, bottled 4/27/21
So this is my last new beer from my trip to OEC last month, not including ones from other breweries I picked up there. Always a pleasure going there. So this is a soured Witbier. I’m not a huge fan of Wits, but the soured ones I’ve had before from The Bruery were actually some of my favorites, so I have pretty high hopes for this one
Pours a cloudy pale gold with a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
They went hard with the herbaceous qualities in this one, feeling like a true Wit/Wild cross. I’m picking up on aromas of chamomile tea, tangerine, white grape, old leather, ginger, lime zest, sharp oak, and coriander
In taste, the spices go even further which I’m really digging. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lemon zest, white wine vinegar, smooth oak, crackery malt, and tart white grape. The swallow brings notes of lemon balm, spicy ginger, coriander, lime zest, white pepper, and chamomile tea
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a smooth yet sharp beer. Finishes a bit sticky but eventually dries up
This is some unique stuff here. I really like how liberally they used the spices to match the funk

Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 for sharing this, consumed 8/19/17, review from notes
A: Medium gold with a tinge of orange - mostly clear, some haze - pours with a small off-white head, fades to wisps
S: This is a Belgian White? No, a sour Belgian White - so much funk - yeasty and barnyard funk - some tartness - lemons and some acidity - lactic notes and some vinegar - spicy and flowery - wood - vegetables-like aroma - malts drowned in funk
T: Funk party - lots of lemon, lemon rind, lemon juice, straight acid - funky tartness - straight up yeasty, barnyard, damp funk - vinegar funk -- puckering sour - flowers and ginger with even more flowery, spicy funk - lingering vinegar, cheese
M: On the light side of medium, medium carbonation, lingering weirdness - actually gave me hiccups
O: Dumpydore!
I suppose the purpose of this beer was to test the limits of a Witbier. It wasn't really for me.
