Pours a hazy, straw gold with no head. Nose expresses citrus and chamomile with just a hint of the tequila barrel and some brine. Taste consistent with nose. Mouthfeel is light an spritzy. Overall, interesting, complex and bright. One of my favorites from OEC.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter, the beer is a slightly hazed, bright gold coloring, with a ton of carbonation feeding a fluffy, clingy, white head. Aromas of lemon zest, white grape, sour funk and fruity esters, tangerine, and subtle white wine characteristics. Flavors are solid sour and citrus forward, with a sweet blend of citrus characteristics similar to candy, with solid notes of orange, lemon, and tangerine. Subtle spiced notes at the end of the palate, with notes of pepper and lemon grass. Solid yeast funk notes, with fruity esters and subtle horse blanket. The body is smooth, but kept effervesced and light by the carbonation, providing a crisp edge. The aftertaste is a solid sourness, with citrus notes providing the base. The finish is dry, crisp, and slightly astringent, with a solid linger of citrus and sour. Really great beer!
