Located inside a mall. Smallish restaurant with a bunch of tables and a light colored wood bar that can seat about 10-12. They have 20 beers on tap, with a good focus on local New England beers. Good selection of cans and bottles too. The beers I had were fresh but a bit expensive. Food was good and service was very friendly. Since there are not too many places in the downtown area that have a good selection, this place will satisfy your search for good beers.

Relatively quiet Tuesday evening however can tell it is a great space with a good location. The selection of beers is limited however a great selection of local brews.

Food is awesome, locally sourced with great balance of tastes. Go for the food enjoy the beer.

Finally made it in here last week to grab a beer. Female bartender is tremendously off putting. Seemed very willing to speak ill of other local establishments. The place is weirdly lit and the staff seemed unorganized. Although the beer selection is mostly local it is not well thought out and there was nothing I hadn't had before.

Nice place. A "Farm to Table" establishment. Dinner portions are small but the quality makes up for it. I had beer braised short ribs which were outstanding. Beer selection is well above average - some good local stuff on tap - Proclamation, Grey Sail, etc. A little pricey though. Worth a visit for any craft beer fan.

Fantastic eatery/bar in the historic Arcade mall in Providence. My wife and I enjoyed a Valentine's day brunch. She ordered the homemade cinnamon roll with home fries, then a plain waffle. The original waffle she enjoyed and the red velvet waffle with chicken I had were the stars, great mix and preparation by the kitchen.

My wife took advantage of the bottomless mimosa deal ($18), which allowed her to enjoy 4 glasses instead of 2 at the same price if ordered by single. I had my "mimosa", which consisted of a few snifters of Proclamation Derivative.

The tap list included BBC Scotch Ale, Foolproof LFU (my favorite by them), Grey Sail Captain's Daughter, etc. They mostly concentrate on relatively local drafts and bottles to stick with their farm to table ethos.

Highly recommend this place, the only limiting factor which would keep me from going here more often is price.

My wife and I stopped in while staying downtown. Located in the Arcade downtown, it's got a great atmosphere and overall feel. They focus on local beer and locally sourced food. The bar is fantastic and the bartenders are very helpful. One seemed to know her stuff though the guy we spoke to seemed new to beer.

We each started with a Maine MO and then I went on to a Petty Things Quad. Both were fresh and tasty though served a little cold for my liking. The glassware is cool but on the smaller side. I hadn't seen any prices along the way and as I suspected, they were on the high side. $8 per beer. I think that was a little high. I paid less for most beers in NYC earlier in the week.

We checked out both the dinner and breakfast menus and both looked fantastic. We didn't end up eating there but were very tempted and might down the road.

Rogue Island is a great addition to the Providence beer and restaurant scene.

I had been waiting to try out Rogue Island Kitchen & Bar for quite some time as I had read some good reviews and am always looking to try something new. My wife joined me for lunch and we were not disappointed! The quality of local beer on tap is great and the servers are quite knowledgable about what is being served. I enjoyed some Hoptical Illusion by Blue Point Brewing. I would say the food was equally if not more delectable. The local fresh flavor was very apparent. i highly recommend a visit or two, and more. I'm away from home at the moment but will be one of my first stops upon my return.

Rogue Island is in the old arcade and has become one of my favorite places to hang out downtown. The ambiance is really nice, with the live edge bar top and all local sourced wood for the wainscoating and trim around the bar.

If you're looking for local beers you found the right place, and every once in a while you'll find some real surprises if you ask. They have 9 taps and something around 10-15 bottles and they do well by having only the good stuff from all the local breweries. Also one of the few bars to get the limited releases from Grey sail, and Proclamation. Prices aren't bad for the area either, between $2 for gansetts all the way up to $9 for an allagash curieux.

If you're looking for local food you found the right place as well, the duck fat fried chicken wings are absolutely amazing and the flatbreads are great as well. Everything on their menu is made from scratch when you order it and it's all from local farms and fishermen.
