Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Nearly clear maroon pour with thick fizzy pink-tinged head. Falls fast... decent ring of lacing. Some sediment while pouring the end of the bottle.
S: Fruit and funk. Tart and berry.
T.F: Starts off somewhere between tart and sour. Not a big pucker but definitely noticeable. Acidic and fruity. Strong currant and berry. Lighter lemon citrus and funk. You get the impression of some lingering fruit sweetness rather than actual sweetness. Complex and refreshing. Effervescent carbonation and light bodied. More tart fruit at the finish.
O: A well executed and super drinkable tart Black Currant saison. Very glad I was able to snag a bottle of this one. At 4.5% there was no guilt in downing the bottle!

A 750ml bottle, bottled on 26th March 2016. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy reddish purple colour with a two finger very light pink head that dissipated quickly and left only sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Black currant, bubblegum, mixed berries jello.
Taste: Sour, tart, black currant, light sweetness, mixed berries jello.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Great, wonderful, easy drinking black currant flavours. Well balanced between fruity, sour and sweet. Maybe one of my favourites of the Béatitude series.

Pours a beet red cloudy color with a thin foamy head. Retention is minimal and lacing is very mild. Tart, sour, berry aroma. Taste is tart berry. Very good. Mild sourness on the end. Brett on the after taste. Light bodied with moderate to heavy carbonation.
