12 ounce bottle, couldn't find any bottling or best by date on this. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice and sweet, the brew smells like bourbon, brown sugar, raisins, dark fruit and caramel. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, but there's also the addition of some vanilla and toffee. It's a mostly sweet tasting beer (but not overpoweringly so). Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. It's also really smooth and enjoyable to drink. I thought this was pretty good, if you're into sweeter tasting barleywines/beers then I really recommend this one. Wish I would have bought 2 bottles of this! $8.99 a bottle.

12 oz bottle at home.
Tastes great, complex. Heavy in dark fruit, raisins, deep caramel. Pretty sweet, wwhich detracts a bit. Will do well with age.

12 FL OZ bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black with less than an inch of tan head. It looks more like a stout than a barleywine.
The smell is amazing. I get caramel, vanilla, and chocolate. The bourbon has melded to create a dessert-like aroma.
It tastes just as great as it smells. I get chocolate, vanilla, and caramel with hints of bourbon. So the taste is actually a little better with the bourbon flavor. It is rich and decadent.
Thick, full, viscous, and smooth mouthfeel.
This beer hits every flavor profile that makes me love a bourbon barrel aged beer. It is probably too sweet for some, but I absolutely love this beer. It is an orgiastic assault of the senses.
