Ordered from Tavour, chilled, and poured into an imperial pint glass.

Look: Very dark brown, almost black, but opaque. Small light brown finger sized head that disappeared quickly and left a light foam on the surface. As we drank, a little stickiness on the glass but no lacing.
Smell: Roast up front, followed by sweet dark chocolate and marshmallow. Smells just like a s’more!
Taste: Sweet malt on the very front, followed by light roast, chocolate, and vanilla with trailing marshmallow. On the backend you get this sweet roasty aftertaste that lingers into a maltiness that seems like it echoes graham crackers, although that is hard to taste. No real booze to speak of and definitely no hops.
Feel: Medium to full body, almost syrupy but not too heavy. Light tickle of carbonation that lingers even as it warms. No drying booziness.

Overall this is a lovely sweet pastry stout. We only ordered two from Tavour and we are wishing we had more!

Cheers everyone!

A - Black pour with uber thin caramel colored lacing.

S - Big chocolate and marshmallow nose with a tiny bit of graham cracker.

T - Chocolate sweetness and marshmallow up front that turns to chocolate char on the back side with some lingering chocolate char bitterness.

M - Thick, silky, and leaves a sugary residue on the lips.

O - Decent and glad I was able to try!

S'morty from Listermann is a trip down memory lane. The scent is a lightly golden marshmallow and the flavor tastes like a fully charred marshmallow. The nutmeg really comes through as well.

Pours black like my heart, with a with a caramel colored head that leaves no residue behind. Aroma is vanilla with a hint of chocolate. Taste is, to me, caramel, or perhaps marshmellow and chocolate with only a hint of nutmeg at the extreme end of the taste. Moderately bodied with little carbonation and the alcohol is well disguised. A very good pasty. Yum.

12 oz bottle from Kevin, 7.5% ABV
Boiler Belgian Snifter

Inky black with an almond-red head of 1/2 finger, receding to a fingernail leaving sparse red lacing.

Aroma of soft vanilla, graham cracker crust, orange zest, chocolate, marshmallow, and fudge.

Flavor is graham cracker, fudge, marshmallow, vanilla, roasted malts, a hint of coffee, and a hint of golden raisin. Very very tasty!

Feel is about halfway between a milk stout and an imperial stout. Sticky finish, very minimal warming alcohol. Some minor roasted dryness.

Overall, a very good marshmallow/pastry stout and somewhat sessionable at that (for me anyways). I would definitely seek this out again, awesome stuff.
