Pours jet black with fine foam.
Smell is roasty with hints of licorice, coffee, wort bread and just a hint of soy sauce.
Taste starts with some coffee, almost a bit tangy, then adds some licorice, soy sauce and ryebread. Hints of smokiness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice, fairly traditional English porter.

Pours a dark brown, almost black color, with a small, dark brown color.
Smells of flowery coffee, toasted malts and sugared whipped cream. Offers a well intergrated licorice sweetness, balanced by the rich, earthy maltiness.
Has a semi high, slightly harsh carbonation, distracting from the more subdued, yet detectable flavors, adding a cold metallic note.
Tastes of a light smokiness among bakers chocolate, coca-cola and a soft coffee dryness. Its coffee quality blends very well into melting toffee and licorice. Finishes with a high carbonation, adding a metallic whiff to the otherwise profound sweetness, producing salty licorice.
Very well put together, exept for its too high carbonation, especially convincing for its salty coffee interplay, offering a nice smoke note.

Drank out of a snifter.
A: Dark brown, almost black, can't see through the liquid. The foam goes away quickly but leaves a small lid. Traces on the glass.
S: Coffee, dark bread, chocolate, a slight burnt note and a bit of seaside.
T: Coffee, Swedish "knäckebröd", balanced bitternes, slight sweetnes, a bit of smoke and tar.
M: Medium carbonation, semi-soft liquid.
O: This beer has got something exclusive about it. BIg bold flavors, yet still harmonius. I really enjoyed it, eventhough it isn't the arcetypical porter. Only bad thing is the 250 ml bottle.

A: Pours a dark brown, almost black liquid into the glass. A two finger high head forms at first before it dissolves leaving a thin layer with thick lacings on the glass. The head has uneven sized bubbles.
S: Smells dark roasted malts, a bit of dry chocolate, smoked ham, smoked wood and some sweet honey and biscuits at the end. There are some metallic tones at first, but they are quickly overtaken by the other smells.
T: Dark roasted malts, some dry chocolate and dark bread. Spicy hop tones and a bit of sourness at the end.
M: Rather light in body at first, but becomes
thicker if I keep it in the mouth for a short while. Light to medium carbonation.

A: Pours dark, almost pitch black. With a medium-large pale brown head that leaves nice lacings.
S: Hard roasted, almost smoked malts; perhaps some smoked ham in the back. Chocolate balanced with coffee as well. Some dark dried fruits lingers in the back.
T: The smoke from the smell is stronger; rich smoked ham and sausages. Some vanilla notes. Bitter rather than sweet. Coffee and chocolate. Crisp bread.
M: Aftertaste holds smoked and bitter notes, but doesn't last that long. Body is on the heavier side while carbonation is moderate.
O: This is a well balanced English Porter with a smokey twist.

The beer is black with a hue of red, has a tan rather small head, but is leaving curtains and lacing.
The smell is of smoked malts and coffee beans.
The taste is upfront sweet, dark bread, dark chocolate and well toasted bread crust.
Medium low carbonation, fresh, a bit oily and very dry.
Very well-done and well-balanced. Not as sweet as some porters, that's nice!

The colour is pitch-black; the large uneven head is pale brown. Lots of fine lacing.
A distinct smell of Swedish rye crisp bread dominates the smell. Dry roasted notes of chocolate and black malt. Hints of wet chipboard and some bitterness in the background.
The taste is velvety with some dry and roasted flavours and a passing clean sweetness. The bitterness is clearly in the background, but it is present. The body is medium strong. Some wood in the aftertaste, as well as some bitterness, notes of whipped cream, charcoal and soured milk. Some sweetness as well as dark bread in the finish.
The carbonation is soft, the bubbles medium sized. The liquid is semi-smooth.
An unusual and a bit demanding porter with some of the woody house taste of Nynäshamns.

Pitch black colour, medium brown very creamy head, thick lacing. Aroma is heavily roasted, coffee, smoke, brown sugar, smoked sausages, very appealing. Flavour is roasted and full of black coffee, it has a nice bitterness and some acidity as well. Mouthfeel is smooth medium bubbles and a bit sticky. Nynäshamn once again proves that they are axtremely good at making stouts and porters!

A: Dark, dark, brown with a creamy, beige, head and some lacing.
S: Milkchocolate, Coffee, Butter, Roasted coffebeans.
T: Chocolate, Coffee (mild), Grain, Dark caramel.
M: Very smooth and mild with some pleasant bitterness at the end.
A super-smooth porter without too much excitement. The draught version was loads buttery and i kind of liked that. A solid effor from a good brewery!
