Pours a slightly darker brown than the rum BA version and with much more head. Aroma of oak, chocolate, and a little leather. Taste is similar and like the rum version, extremely easy-drinking. Almost too much so, as it lacks depth. Still solid.

Clear mahogny colored beer wit a tiny head that leaves lacing on the glass.
Nose: Bourbon, dark fruiu (raisin, plum), malt, caramel, ripe apples, toffee, oak, prunes and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet caramel malt, definitely bourbon oak barrels, dried fruit, prunes, raisin, vanilla, brown sugar and earthy notes.
Mouth: Full body. Medium carbonation. Sweet but dry ending. Medium bitterness. Complex texture.
A beautiful barley wine! Just like I want it!
