The colour is yellow, the liquid is almost clear. The two finger head is white and airy, it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is fresh with notes of barley, floral hops and a touch of metal.
The taste is surprisingly strong and very balanced. Lots of sweet bread-like malt, floral grassy hops, smooth bitterness and some hay. Medium to full body. The aftertaste got passing metal flavours, growing bitterness, grassy and floral hops and smooth hints of butter and French loaf. Toffee and wholemeal bread in the long finish.
The carbonation is medium strong, the many small bubbles are fresh hand long-lived. The liquid is smooth.
A pleasant kellerbier-pils. Lots of elegant and harmonized flavours,
