What can I say, I enjoy ale over many other styles. This is nice as an American light pale or blonde, but not nearly as flavorful as a British ale. It also is less distinct in the hop flavors than many blonde ales, especially Florida based brews.
It has a sweet malty flavor with a slight hint of citrus, possibly from the hops, IMO one of the best non-IPA beers from Islamorada Beer Company.
It could easily be an everyday beer for a day at the beach or by the pool on a hot day, great after mowing the lawn as well.

Islamorada Ale (Citrus Ale) by Islamorada Beer Company at Alonzo's Oyster Bar

Light, refreshing and goes well with raw oysters. 6/29/17

Pretty enough brew: straw-gold and clear, with a modest head with OK retention. Perfectly transparent.

Right on the nose, this beer is underwhelming: sickeningly-sweet malt profile, reminiscent of pilsner malt (but no mention of such on the label or website). Any hops are completely unnoticed and pure background noise.

Flavor follows, yet even more disappointingly: this is the ale version of Coors Light. It really is that poor.

Picked this up at TW a Keys brew, lets give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a waft of floral hops and a graham crackers. Pours into my SAPP with a brigth pee yellow with a two finger pillow top head that recedes quickly. Taste is rather uneventful, a little sweeet not much hoppiness, almost like a beer spritzer if such thing exists. Mouthfeel is thin and watery, no backbone at all on this one. This would be good for a big thirst on a hot day if chugged, but for an ale very dissappointing.

Not overly impressed with this try. Bought some of this after a trip to the keys and noticing this brewery out and about. Tasted more soapy than hoppy. Some fruit presence. Bottled from somewhere in Naples.

Totally solid beer for what it is. A sessionable, delicious, real beer.
