Great beer for a hot day. Very refreshing. Light amber color. Strong hops with light citrus overtones. Slightly bitter bite at the end of a drink, hoppy aftertaste. Great Belgian Pale Ale.

Poured from a bottle into a tall fluted glass. A cloud brown color with a thin head but nice lacing. A pleasant fruity smell. The taste was herbal, earthy, and fruity. Tastes of cherry, lime, and a bit of tangerine. It had a nice finish and I enjoyed the beer very much.

I had it at a place called Cured at The Pearl in San Antonio, TX. The old Pearl Brewery complex has been revitalized. Beautiful place! Not as crowded as the River Walk. Great things there for BAs!

Surprisingly amber and heavy-looking for a "belgian pale", with minimal carbonation. Gives a smooth feel despite appearances. Nice balance of holiday flavor overtones.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a tulip.
LOOK: Pours with a half finger's worth of white foam that shrivels down to a line within 20 seconds. Dark amber in color with an extreme amount of cloudiness. Rising bubbles hardly exist.
SMELL: Has mild aromas of roasted malts, bananas, and cloves that entangle with hints of floral hops, spicy hops, and earthy yeast.
TASTE: Initial taste is of mild roasted malt and clove flavors that combine with subtle banana flavors. Mild floral hop flavors enter right after initial flavors along with subtle spicy hop flavors. Right as you think the dancing of flavors is over, 3 seconds later, a dash of earthy and sour yeast entangles with all the previous flavors as they all persist, except roasted malts, which fade to subtle (I suppose they got tired of dancing).
FEEL: A heavy-bodied brew (love it) with a mild amount of carbonation. However, this goes down almost as smooth as a Keystone and with the same enjoyable crisp finish.
NOTE: This was a very good beer. That is all.
