Notes: Our Witbier features inviting herbal aromatics from the use of orange peel, coriander and other spices, while the wheat and oats, lend bready notes to this beer. True to style, this brew maintains a sweet maltiness with delicate notes of vanilla, honey and orange zest. Last but surely not least, we even procured the “Celis” yeast strain to ensure this beer is as traditional as possible! Prost!

A satisfying pour of light, golden liquid with a healthy foam that dissipates quickly. Aromatics of orange peel and very lightly coriander. I myself do not taste vanilla or honey. This is a light bodied beer that continues with notes of orange. This goes down quickly and is a definite summer brew.

16 oz can

Pours hazy golden, white head dissipates to lacing.

Aroma of esters, banana, wheat and bready malts, and coriander.

Flavor of orange, coriander, wheat malts and banana esters.

Medium body, tingly carbonation throughout.

Straightforward wit, good flavor, easy drinking. Nothing much to complain about. Definitely a good session candidate.

A: The beer is hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of orange peel and wheat are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also had some bits of honey with hints of coriander towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought this beer was a very good representation of the style and had a nice showing of wheat and orange peel.
