Visited here with Da Boss 12-23-21 for lunch and a few brews after visiting the Bonner House Museum which i recommend if you are interested in an eclectic view of a rich artistic house from the 1920's,

Vibe was remodeled warehouse with very tall ceilings and very open feeling. Not a whole lot going on here.

Quality of the beers were very good. I had an NEIPA, a Triple NEIPA, and a 4 oz dessert pastry stout which were all very good. Linda was pleased with her pilsner.

Service was outstanding as Dennis was all over us from when we walked in to when we left and they got pretty busy around an hour after we arrived which was when they opened. Dennis was familiar with the brews for the styles i liked and could recommend.

Food was extremely good as well as we shared the beef sliders which were flavorful and juicy and the sausage goat cheese pizza which had a lot of flavor going on.

Overall a very nice dining and beer drinking experience. Was able to take home a 4 pack of the NEIPA Green Gorilla for $24 which is pretty fairly priced in this market. Definitely worthy of a stop if you are in the Downtown/Airport/Main Beach area.

Selection was extremely nice as there were 36 draft and bottles to choose from w

The vibe was a bit odd as it is tucked away in a strip mall like place that is attached to a Quality Inn type hotel. The quality of the beer and food were very good. The service was fine. There was plenty of different beers and food to choose from.....everyone should be able to find something they like. The food was reported as being good. Definitely worth visiting.

Was really excited to come here, but I guess by luck I came at a bad time. I'd heard how good the food was so we planned on having dinner and beers. When we got there, we were told that the kitchen was closed for the day (apparently a COVID issue, so not their fault). The downside was that there wasn't many other food options in that neighborhood, so we had to go back to Fort Lauderdale for dinner.

I had scoped out the beer menu before we left the hotel to find that they had a BA stout for on premise consumption that I really wanted to try, only to find out when we got there that they sold the last bottle 3 days prior. What few beers that I did get to try were among the best that I had in Fort Lauderdale and their outdoor seating with grassy turf was very nice. Hopefully I'll get the chance to come back again some day.

Great visit to 3 Sons, and I appreciated the way they are operating and creating a smooth and safe experience with the pandemic on going. Food was great. Split a pizza and fish tacos with my wife. One of the servers recommended a new BA stout that had just been put on and wasn’t on the menu. Wife loved the 2 sours she tried. Highly recommend as the brewery is less than a 10 min drive from FLL airport. Lots of to go options as well.

Super friendly and comfortable. Good selection of beers but would be nice to have some guest additions. Food is surprisingly good with decent selection.

So happy we found this gem! Staying nearby before flying home and the brews are outstanding. Loved the Ambeer and stout. The food was so delicious for our lunch that we are heading back for dinner. The tuna tacos and Tampa Cuban both great. Gonna try the brick oven pizza for dinner.

I’ve been to 3 Sons twice now. Once during their soft opening and again after they officially opened to the public. Let me first start by saying that Corey, the owner and world class brewer, appears to be a sincerely friendly, customer oriented and standup guy. He greeted me at the door as well as everyone who was coming in the first opening day or two and really made a good impression. His employees are well trained and serve you quickly and efficiently. Food comes up fast as well.

The tap room itself is a nice lofty space with sharp looking furniture, a nice long bar and fairly comfortable surroundings. What it’s missing is TV/Sports. It’s a saturday in March and the college basketball tournament is on and I can’t watch it while drinking good beer. Not happy.

The beer is excellent for the most part. The stouts (especially barrel aged) are some of the best around, excellent sours and a very good pils. The IPAs are good, but not great and other styles I tried (amber ale for example) were good but nothing to get excited about.

The selection offers a fairly wide variety including a lot of guest taps. Where it falls short is the price. If you truly want a 3 Sons barrel aged stout, there were none on tap and you are forced to buy a $35 500ml bottle. So, I didn’t have one. Too pricey for me. The sour on tap (Boyz in tha hood) is $10 for a 10 ounce pour. So I had a 4 ounce pour for $6. That’s a ridiculous price for a sour. Especially for a new brewery tap room that wants to have people returning.

The food was somewhat disappointing. I must admit that all I had was a pizza. It’s made in a wood burning oven with the semi-charred crust so I was expecting greatnesss. In all honesty it was average. A little greasy, flavors were off, basically nothing special. I’ve been to tap rooms that have great pizza (3 Floyds, RR, SN Asheville, etc.). This pizza needs improvement.

Overall, their special beers should be on tap at lower prices, they need to have real TVs (not a projected movie on the wall with no sound), and their pizzas need to kick ass! I’m sure their regular crowd who have been following 3 Sons from beer festivals and Brass Tap/Flagler (and drinking $35 bottles at the bar) will be loyal to them either way, but new customers are going to lose interest if they don’t improve.

4/7/19 - Went back again. Pizza has improved and they have a big screen TV. Beer is still too expensive for their popular beers and the vibe/atmosphere needs a little energy.
