Notes: A crisp, refreshing Belgian-style blonde ale, with a subtle hint of Saaz and Northern Brewer hops. Full-bodied taste and a generous froth, leaving behind a delicate lace for a complete sensory experience. Brewed with pure Edmundston water naturally filtered through the surrounding mountains.

Serving Type: 330 mL "Stubby" Bottle

A- Pours a clear golden colour topped by a rather lackluster 1/4 finger white head that disappears quite quickly. Not Unlike a Bud or a Coors.

S- Orchard fruit (apple, pear) backed by a bit of breadiness. Classic Belgian Pale Ale.

T- Similar to aroma but with a diminished presence from the grain. A nice, subtle hop bite evens things out on the finish.

M- Medium body and steady medium carbonation. Nice and refreshing.

O- Great first experience with Brasseurs du Petit-Sault! I'm excited that I now have access to another great New Brunswickan Brewery. I just wish that I was getting the large head a few users were getting! Maybe my bottle is older or under-carbonated?

Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with some cereal notes is OK. Taste is also dominated by light cereal notes with some sweet malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing to write home about but no brewing flaws either.

Shared at a 10K review beer tasting; drank from a Hill Farmstead stemmed snifter.
Thanks to Rejtable (RB) for the bottle!

Pours a clear golden color with a short bubbly white head and no lacing. The nose is of sweet toasted malt and those nice belgian yeast characteristics, banana and some fruity esters. The taste follows suite with toasted malt, yeast and some spice (corriander and orange peel). A bit thin in body but nice carbonation (though the lack of head was surprising).

A very nice crisp blond beer.

The first thing that gets you is the distinctive floral bouquet that wafts through as you bring the glass to your lips for the first quaff.

Second, you get a a subtle nudge of hops that intrigues that palate, but before it gets too strong, the malty goodness comes in and rounds the whole thing out.

As for the head, off the pour it's nice and foamy and will sit quite well (about 3 cms) As you sip the head holds well till bout half of the pint.

Brilliant pale gold color. Generous 3 finger white head, lasting 2 -3 minutes with average legs and subtle activity.

Well balanced aromas and flavors of sweet fruity citrus and floral hops including saaz. Nicely spiced with a bitter zesty clove feel with grains.

Medium slick body with lively carbonation. Well balanced finish ending with a subtle bitter mouth coat, creating saliva.

Overall : Very flavorful, pleasantly perfumed and well balanced, almost like a white beer with lots of freshness.

A beer from a brewer at 300 km from my hometown.

The color is a bright orange yellow gold. Nice in appearance. The smell is nice but not extremely inviting

The taste have a moderate hop taste. Not part of my top beer but not the worst.

A bottle at the Best Western bar in Edmundston. Clear wheaten gold with a good head. Mild fruit nose and taste and a hint of cloves. Light body.
